Yep, stamina potions is what I thought of when I heard about sprinting. If you watch Chris Wilson's interview with Brevik, Brevik will admit that stamina was one of the biggest D2 mistakes.
Stamina has never been a fun mechanic. Closest thing is fromsoft where it's only used in combat. The difference in revanant 1 and 2 because of stamina sprinting is literally night and day.Yep, stamina potions is what I thought of when I heard about sprinting. It's not tied to stamina though. It's tied to whether or not you get hit. Just use a skill if you feel like you're about to get hit and it'll break you out of sprint without the knockdown.
It seems like this is a skill issue.
So then don't use sprint if you're in a mob heavy situation that is dropping all kinds of bullshit on the ground and randomly shitting projectiles 47 different directions?
Again, all the "yeah, but.." issues just sound like skill issues.
Thats what I'm rolling because it looks OP, and I've never made a Ranger yet.....might end up being too easy endgame and I'll quit, but whatever.Deadeye is going to be insane tanky, 30% reduced damage from tailwind, called shots allowing you to auto mark mobs in your presence combined with the notable that makes all marked mobs automatically blinded and unable to Crit you and it’s super conveniently placed, then add in deflection. Run voltaic for clear and sniper for bosses. Suddenly the the most attractive portion of Deadeye is now the 2nd to least or least attractive points in the ascendancy.
Yea that fight is absolute aids if your build sucks. Would be nice if he dropped something really useful too on the first run to make it feel better.Sounds like that cocksucking faggot Count Gooner fight is going to continue to suck total donkey balls. Dodge rolling like an asshole and now I'm going to get stunned after those asshole dogs come out of nowhere. God I hate that fight. Retarded for an Act 1 boss on your first char with shit ass gear.

You do realize, of course, that nothing in PoE2 is forcing you to obediently follow Jonathan's every word or chain yourself to the sprint button, right? The agency is yours.Bitch you saw the video. Jonathan recommended dodge rolling out of danger and then holding that shit down to sprint away. You know a whole lot of people are going to try and sprint in a bad situation and get railed for it. They changed dodge roll a bunch of times because of how little it helped you get out of scrapes. If this is just a trap if there's a monster anywhere on the screen Reddit is going to be backing up the salt truck.

What was one of the loudest, most incessant complaints from the community during early feedback? "The maps are too big! They take forever! Where are the checkpoints?! Why do we run so slow?! I just want to zoooooooooom!!!" The pearl-clutching over map size was practically deafening.
So now, in a rare moment of compromise, GGG gives you exactly what you've been screeching for: a tool, usable at your discretion, that introduces speed and mobility into the game when you actually deem it appropriate. Imagine that. A mechanic built on the classic ARPG principle of risk versus reward. It's a solution tailored to address complaints about mobility/speed, without gutting the design philosophy.
And how does the forum react? With the exact same doomsaying and teeth-gnashing as before. At this point, it's starting to feel like a pathology. Half of you could be handed a suitcase with a million dollars inside and you'd still manage to spiral into melodrama about taxes or the implications of the M2 money supply.
Honestly, the way some of you carry on, it's indistinguishable from a room full cantankerous grandfathers bemoaning how the world's gone to hell since coffee stopped being a nickel.
Fair, but easy to do on this forum. It's obvious that's where a fair number of people get their takes from. You're not even reading what I type. You're just lumping everyone in with Reddit.
Who the fuck reads that aids infested shit hole?Fair, but easy to do on this forum. It's obvious that's where a fair number of people get their takes from.
