i learned a lot about gaming sekema. basically get your 75 percente honour resistance then stack as much merchant price reduction as you can. often coupling it with "bosses deal less damage" "rares take more damage" or "more honour total". then take every choice you can that gives no penalties > water fountains > merchants. and the merchant purchases snowball out of control.
you can get bad runs but that's how i generally do it a nd i find it easier than than the chaos trial.

Did you touch the Ascension stone after you beat the Scorpion boss at the end? The invitation is lit up which means it'll grant your 3rd ascendancy so either you forgot to touch the stone or it's completely bugged.

So you killed the scorpion boss and it didn't give you any ascendancy points? If so, that is definitely a bug.

are the frame drops better now? I was giving it a shot but I haven't had much time to mess with it on the deck. I'd love to be able to play with a controller from the couch (I got a steam dock and shit).
I saw lowering your sound channels helps with frame dips as well (Maybe I saw it here, I don't remember).

With Streaming it on GeForce now with the premium I had 60fps, I think you get a 4080 in that tier. Running it native on the Deck is probably hopeless.

I ran better than I expected previously and it seems to be running better now but I was messing around with low level areas without a lot of mobs. In higher level areas there were occasional stutters, just enough to deter me from playing on it. They'd be retarded to not have a steam deck setting for this game.

D4 being as bad as it is ran really well when I played it during expansion. Wish PoE2 ran as good, but as I said earlier my 3080 bogs down to 30fps in this game, badly optimized.

I like sekema better than chaos just because you have some control over how the run would go, but it's entirely too drawn out, and some times you just get fucked. it's kind of gay because the 'goal' is to not engage with any of the cute little randomizers they made. if you accept "get a random boon, for a random badthing" you will get something like "10 percent more sacred water" in exchange for "lol, no defense". it's better than it used to be but it's still very harsh when you accept any risk at all.
