Warrior is fine bro. Played one in .3...Slow start, but thats like 3/4 of the classes, but once it gets going it kicks ass. (Its mostly because of the shit starter skills hes got acess too) Took him to T15 mostly SSF other than weapon, and he slayed. After playing a bow dude and a crossbow dude as well before the warrior it was a stark difference on just how tanky the warrior was dealing with the act bosses and face tanking them. Felt good. If i decide to play .4, Warrior is def my starter.Did they fix warrior?

The issue with this league is that it feels like a stopgap. Something they just quickly tossed together to bridge the gap before the holidays, after which the devs vanish for a month. Druid clearly wasn't conceived overnight. We've seen media for it going back to 2023, and it was obviously meant for 0.3. Instead, it gets punted to 0.4, Jonathan binge-plays Loop Hero and decides that suddenly needs to be PoE's new personality, so we get a slapped-together mechanic that's shaping up to be another Synthesis headache that's a total pain in the ass to interact with. They bolt it onto the Vaal/Incursion ecosystem to give it some level of familiarity, finish the last chunk of Druid work they've been sitting on, and stamp it as a full release. All while Keepers league feels like they barely bothered.I feel like noone is really looking forward to this league - kinda curious how they make out with the "free weekend" event.
I'm still convinced I will love this game at some point but it still needs more time in the oven.
If you remember from the beginning POE2 was supposed to be a part of POE1, like a 2 games in one type of thing. But somewhere along the line they split POE2 into its own thing. But they are not going to get rid of POE1 because its still their cash cow. Problem with POE1 now is on boarding new players. There is just so much shit in that game, so many convoluted systems that it would literally take a study in POE1 college level course to get all that shit down. Shit, even players returning to the game from a few years leave and its a mind boggling mess of shit. And this is where POE2 will eventually get to as well, lol.The issue with this league is that it feels like a stopgap. This is exactly why I keep saying it's time to sunset PoE1 and has been for a while. Settlers should've been their last "real" league and now they should just do wild shit until it slowly dies. It's over a decade old at this point anyways, time to let go. It's obvious they don't have the staffing to meaningfully support both games, so now we get two half-committed products instead of one focused one. And yes, I realize the irony in part of the frustration being that we're comparing PoE2's output to PoE1 (the best ARPG on the market) but that comparison is unavoidable. The only studio capable of dethroning the genre leaders is GGG themselves, and ever since PoE2 hit EA, it feels like they're on track to do just that.
Maybe 0.5 finally brings the substance everyone's waiting for, because this league is a hard skip.
I think its going to be free but not yet. EA acess is $30. But in todays money its really nothing for what you actually get, game wise. Shit, this game has more content in its EA than some of if not most AAA games have.I've enjoy playing this. It still needs work. But it's it hard to be upset about a game that's free.
It's not perfect, but it's improving
Is this really where we are now? I am jaded as fuck on politics. But I don't want to start hating videogames too. This game is worth the money, or lack thereof, and improving constantly.
I look forward to making a druid caster, don't care if it can abuse the endgame. I just hope it's fun to play for a bit.

Thats literally like less than a dollar per hour if you take the median (typical) play time.
Either way $30 is a fucking pittance as far as gaming dollars go these days. Especially on a game like this which you know will be updated regularly with fresh content every 3 months.I know it's $30
But I'm pretty sure that you either had to have that amount previously spent in poe1, on stash tabs etc ..., but even if you didn't, the 30 for EA for poe2 gave you that $30 back in credits for stash tabs or other things.
Agreed. My point is that it isn't perfect yet. But it's basically fucking free. And while I understand the constructive criticism, a lot of this just feels like complaining by people who like to complain.Either way $30 is a fucking pittance as far as gaming dollars go these days. 100% agree with you. Ill be playing it for sure. It think the game is miles above POE1 even in its unfinished state right now. And I know this is only an OPINION so all of you POE1 faggots stay off my dick.Agreed. My point is that it isn't perfect yet. But it's basically fucking free.
