Tying everything to weapons in the way they did was so fucking retarded. A lot of the changes are great, but then I remember that we have the saaaaame fucking weapons/abilities we've had for like a year and realize I still can't be bothered.

it’s a shame they do everything but make the gameplay loop at endgame actually fun. Look forward to have to combo a pile of things together to stun a boss then have its stun animation travel halfway across the map causing the combo to miss and impossible to catch up since the “maps” are still garbage and you hit hidden terrain all over the place

Yep I thought it was a decent reveal bit I think I am gonna skip this one, too.

Didn't play last league either so by the time I roll up it'll hopefully feel like a new game! Damnation farm is burning me the fuck out of POE for the moment anyway.

I love the monk, so the new monk ascendancy is really the only thing tempting me to play this league. Maybe we'll get a few more surprise releases.

Looked interesting to me, not a fan of not getting new classes/weapons though and especially since they'll apparently launch without like half of them as a result, but this league changes look pretty nice.

I'm also very tempted to go for the obvious meme build that likely will turn out to be shit, Huntress new ascendancy with boss taming. As a minion enjoyer, that sounds way too cool to pass up even if it's shit, I played all sorts of shit minion builds in PoE1 so eh.

While I'm not too mad about not having new weapons/classes since I've only touched maybe 15% of the weapons/classes and even much less class combos, I am disappointed they're keeping the unlimited atlas. Maybe they're moving in the right direction with it making it a bit more deterministic, but I just hate that screen. Its slow, clunky, moving around it sucks. Idk, I'll probably play but maybe not.

Also, interesting listening to the Q&A about average times to complete bosses and maps. I'm a bad PoE player. But damn, I'm not taking 15-20+mins per map at least, or 8 minutes bosses.

I'm excited for the patch. Have not hyped myself up at all and I'm glad for that. Lotsa people tricked themselves into new weapon types and shit.
