Didn't watch the video with sound on. I'm hoping the "secondary quality" stuff is given or mined before launch.
I've started Gemling summoner twice before. Once at 0.1. Again in 0.3. It was fucking awful and 0.3 I finally got the cool "gems get more X based on speed" ascendancy and was pumped. Except it didn't work on minion gems. Still doesn't afaik.

I assume the Gemling shit you'll have to wait for the torrent to go up so it can be datamined, I doubt they're gonna list all that shit in the patch notes which are already going to be 50 pages without.
Chrono looks neat but still looks pretty caster oriented, would have been interesting to mix it up and allow more attack stuff in there too.

Video said these changes are additional recoup nodes, like recoup recovery speed increases.

I’m going spirit walker huntress twisters, the build is stupid fucking easy campaign and SSF with 0 Ascendancy points I got to t15 maps in 3 days of playing 3 hours on SSF testing out the build.
Looks like it’s going to be a fast mapper and it obliterates bosses, if the patch notes don’t fuck with twister or whirling slash it should be solid for a league starter and to endgame.

If it doesnt get nerfed. All the attention its been getting lately is not looking too good. Everyone and their mother is playing this now practicing for .5.

How can you guys stand the gameplay of having to wind up 3-4 times before before letting loose some tornados that sometimes just miss a few mobs out of the pack?

Because aside act 1, when youre still ramping, like pretty much all classes, the rest of the game is EZ for league start. Gather your orbs then make a twink of your choice. Plus if you get salvo, some charges, barrage, your throwing out 50 tornadoes that clear whole screens.

The tornados wreck the entire screen and other screens, whirling slash is clunky at the start but once you invest in a fast weapon and use weapon sets to stack the ever living fuck out of skill speed and attack speed, holding it down and going through the map is quick as fuck. It’s going to get so much better with spirit walker, the owl feathers, bear companion and the stags. I think it will be fun and I don’t think it’s getting nerfed but will find out soon.

Fine... lets remove the CDR ignore for all skills, and make it buff comet pretty much exclusively.
44% dps increase for comet. and nothing else.

Like I said, dont get your hopes up. I think this shit is getting nerfed. Plus everyone and their mother will be playing this on league start if not nerfed so prices on shit will be adjusted, lol. all the big streamers were practicing this shit in one form or another. Even Carn, the warrior dude was running this shit yesterday. And his version literally had 300 tornadoes on the screen with power charges up.

Thing is Spiritwalker Twisters kinda look clunky, cause to spend feathers you have to dodge roll, but if you dodge roll out of your prepared whirlwind, it blows up so you need to prep another, and generally speaking it means have to dodge roll everytime you do your twister, it's just unnecessary command bloat(not sure why you don't just fire feathers automatically).
And at the end of the day it's likely just worse than Deadeye regardless, with the added clunkiness.
Spiritwalker in general looks kinda eh, I was tempted to go companion with the boss, and I might still do it depending on patch notes, but it looks pretty bad versus just doing a traditional minion builds or disciple of varashtra. The bosses are likely to be super gimmicky and only useful for boss fighting due to long animations, hard to scale damage due to their varied damage types, and companion builds currently look kinda iffy in general because of the tree travel to get a way to make your weapon add reasonable damage to your companions(Giant's Blood or Lord of the Wild for 2H weap damage). Currently I'm more looking towards just doing Disciple of varashtra summoner if it's not nerfed into dogshit and see from there.
Obviously still waiting for tree and notes though.
