Path of Exile 2

The quest parts of the trials (first 2 points) are great ways to introduce players to those "league" mechanics and ascend their character. The 3rd and 4th is bullshit. They're way too long and most new characters slime out. I hope they eventually have 2 new unique mechanics for 3rd and 4th points.

Trials CAN be fun when you get decent relics for 75% resist and max honor. Even then you can get absolutely fucked if you can't see enough rooms ahead and brick your whole run. If you're not going for a no-hit it's pretty trivial with good movement speed/shield block. I ran a few for fun last league and it was cool getting time-lost jewels, but my 4th ascendancy run this league I got something like 11 silver keys and 0 gold and that fucking sucked.

Shield Raise is a big cheat for 90% of traps though for those struggling. You can just raise shield and walk through most all traps unaffected.

i'm not super experienced at the game. but i 'finished hte temple'. killed queen Four-tits and all. got my 6 points and folded up the temple. then from there. i did 2 temple runs (one to spawn the architect. my temple wouldn't allow it otherwise) and a second to get into her treasure room. doing that room yielded 3 divines and like 15 other assorted exalt/chaos. that seemed worth it, but i was also running 2 vaal lighbulb pad tablets to make juicing it up back to back.

though that may not be the currency fountain you meant by that. i haven't done an ultra optomized vaal temple yet.

I really should sort more relics into my sekema and do runs of that some time. i'm a bit shy about charging folks since i haven't done payed runs before, but i effortlessly did the 4th trial the other day (prior to getting like 8 levels and a lot of gear optimization). being able to kill the final boss before he can move makes it not so bad. though i may have had a 'lucky' run where i minimized penalties and got 3 rando merchants who i emptied out. I'll have to run it f or some RL homies and test before i go offering it to errybody.

Started doing the delirium quest and man that shit is time consuming. Got to the point where I would skip the mirror, get the boss checkpoint, and then warp back to activate.

Also using lower tiered maps just to make it faster/safer. The reflection boss was crazy though, fought the ice / fire combo boss x2 and the whole arena was chaotic......was super glad I used a T8 map for that one. Now apparently I have to do the Grand Mirror BS until I can finally fight the main boss?

Ran probably 20ish t8 alch maps and didn't get any t9 drops so I said screw it and bought a pair of corrupted t15s at 1ex per so I could start doing harder maps (and this third abyss wing wanted t11+ anyways). Am a little squishy in t15s but not terrible, I just gotta actually be a little careful. My dps could use a slight bump too for some of the rares, but I gotta figure out what my best cheap upgrade for that would be or if I want to use the 3divs I have on getting tailwind from 4th ascendancy carry.

But yeah if I wasn't playing a strong build I think it'd be the worst questline in difficulty, along with Rituals. Rituals get crazy too cause you just fight multiple bosses at the same time, if you can't delete them quickly it just gets super messy.

I finished the delirium questline but got to the Patriarch map and OMFG that boss is cheesy as fuck. Only tried once on a generic T15 map but everytime the little circles spawned in phase 2 I ended up frozen and unable to make it to the next area. (I had a freeze charm too)

That boss is gay as fuck and I'll do it tomorrow and hopefully never fight it again until I am at 200k dps, lol. Seriously, that shit was horrible. <-- edit, I did smoke a lil but it felt unfair as fuck....probably need to get more life / energy shield.

Ok, this is getting really irritating. I'm doing T15 maps, usually irradiated and/or corrupted, but for whatever reason my temple refuses to go above 74 which means no royal architect spawns so that I can get the royal access chamber. What the hell do I have to do to get it to finally increase in level?

I'm doing T11s-13s and it's always 75+. Are you running your temples every 6 or are you just stockpiling?

I've been running them every 6. Does that matter? I hated temple league so I'm just trying to get the required stuff done so I can ignore it.

Also, can someone explain the delirium bar? This is the map I just ran:

I cleared the whole map while the fog was active but for whatever reason I didn't get the last little bit of progress to trigger the final reward. I know the diamond is showing the distance from the initial mirror but I don't quite get how the purple/grey bar works.

Edit: according to reddit the mirrors spawn near you when you reach that distance from the start, and the final one is supposed to be clearing the map boss in fog... I did that though.
Edit2: nm, it seems like that map's delirium was just bugged. The next few I ran all worked exactly like the reddit post described. I'm still not exactly clear what the final mirror icon is for though. I guess it's just the boss fight, and there's no actual mirror to break for a potential reward like the others?

If you stack them up, it can sometimes "lock" your first run into a lower level, if that's what you did to unlock your first 6, next 6, etc. I always use mine after 6 and haven't had any issues.

But, this league has had a fuckload of bugs, so who knows. I have the lovely bug where my anoint on Well of Power doesn't work, so my entire mana regen plan is just ultra fucked.

Yeah, I don't know what the problem was, but I did another set of 6 and all of a sudden it bumped all the way up to 79.

My first tablet dropped an isolation from one of the gold mirror minibosses so I'm clinging to the idea that I'm going to get a contempt next. Playing a djinn sorc with 12k ES so there's no real difficulty anywhere. At this point I don't even bother to look at the affixes that roll on my maps. Just need more dps now, and all I have left are the really expensive upgrades.
