Because if you vaal in the map tab, every time the tier changes it puts the map on your cursor which interrupts spam vaaling and is super clunky

Ya I've been rolling all my maps and selling a couple here and there to buy more vaal orbs. It's like 30 minutes of work once or twice a week and I save tons of currency and time not having to buy good waystones.

Oh I thought we were talking about tablets since Penance mentioned Empyrians quad tab tablet experiment. I did all of my map crafting in my inventory cause I just did like 20-25 maps at a time, and I don't regex stuff either so no need to do 100+ or anything crazy.

Yea I use a regular stash tab to craft tablets/way stones cause fuck crafting a bunch of 1x1s in a quad.

On a similar note is there anyway to turn off the spam you get from mass crafting that goes into your chat box for trying to apply currency to an item that can't take it? Like I use scroll wheel to click but obviously it makes it so I'm spam applying things and I just get this massive output of text in my chat.

Take this game and remove all crafting and it would be amazing
You can't see which mods an item can roll, there's 478 different currencies to change mods, block mods, add mods, etc. All of this is disguised as "deep, meaningful crafting", but in reality it's just an unintuitive mess. The fact that you need so many 3rd party tools, websites, regex, etc. to do it, says everything.

That's about as likely to happen as a SSF mode that isn't just "same game, but no trade--for retards, masochists, and retarded masochists".

The crafting system was great back in the days (beta) when nobody was level 100 and people were doing group mf runs on docks or group piety runs etc. Simpler times, way lower gear needs, big items were special and not just "I saved up x exalts/divines to brute force it". Now crafting is just a money sink replacement to finding items to use and I wouldn't be surprised if all the "lol this mod has 25 weight out of 75,000" wasn't artificially pumped up to make it basically mandatory to play the money sink brute-force crafting game instead of being able to drop usable or almost-usable items (weapons moreso, obviously can still find triple res mvspd boots and other armor stuff, but even all of those are being made obsolete with special mod crafting items).

What do you guys think is the "correct" end game task order? heres what Im thinking atm.

step one. Save tablets do not use them, yet. they will make maps harder, but without the better drops from atlas passive, nor level 80+. not worth using yet.

step two. progress through map tiers and atlas, to t11.

step three. 3rd ascend.

step four. corruption nexus for doryani mastre and +1 attempts at maps. also, 2 more for "hidden patterns", to help enable moving around the map faster. and "irradiated" for +1 monster level.

step five. progress through map tiers and atlas, to t15, and arbiter of divinity.

step six. Imbues are universally useful. so, doing simulacrum at this point is probably a solid idea.

step 7. then breach/wombtree?

step 8. Jado? "50% increased exception items, and "pinnacle bosses have 50% increased chance to drop lineage supports, and 35% inc chance to find lineage supports" is pretty huge.

step 9. then finish doryani. "head of the snake, and remnants of greatness" are veery powerful for targeted farm.

step 10. now we go back and finish atlas I think.

step 11. at this point, its worthwhile to start using those tablets you've been saving. t15/16 maps, level 80+ monsters.

step 12. no idea at this point. expedition, ritual, vaal temple? ascend 4?

Hitting Atlas passives early has benefits but I'd hit expedition earlier to try and get some early currency for upgrades before pushing for Arbiter

The thing about crafting is it gives people incremental progression. Otherwise God tier items drop or they don't. I think besides needing 100 3rd party sites to craft it's in a really good spot.

It's definitely worth using overseer tablets early on to progress through tiers. Making all map bosses be powerful map bosses really helps your sustain and tier progression. They are self-sustainable.

When progressing through map tiers, I transmuted, augmented, then regal for 3 map mods which gives 3 attempts. This felt like a good balance between juicing the map and not losing it to a fuckup or two while your gear is weak.

I think it's worth rushing one or two mechanics quickly so you can have SOMETHING going on in your maps while you're progressing the atlas inside the fortress. whether that's breach to get tree drops, abyss to spread and chain abyssal overruns (and hopefully get a couple omens of light), ritual to be getting omens while hoping to get lucky with a decent unique or two (doesn't need to be HH/MB, even something like a rathpith globe or tabula will set you up with enough divines to get started on good gear). I wouldn't do delirium (too hard when progressing and you don't want fog to fuck up quests) or expedition (it's a completely separate area and only delays your tier/atlas/boss progression). Temple can be good for just rushing atziri instead of trying to build a snake.

I did Hilda first while progressing through the tiers since her unlocks are literally on the way to the fortress, and she gives bonuses to powerful map bosses (which is useful when using overseer tablets to progress).

I liked Abyss to start, the investment is super cheap and the payoffs are reliable. Next league I’ll be doing expedition and Abyss, abyss on the travel maps that aren’t grand expeditions and then when geared add delirium to the Abyss. The temple can suck my dick, ritual isn’t bad but it doesn’t have the synergy of doing Abyss/Deli on travel nodes while doing expedition.

Run 2, then 3 when you get the chance, irradiated tabs to get other tabs to drop, while youre climbing the T1-T15 ride and killing arbiter. You get a shit ton of league tabs this way and irradiated tabs are cheap. This is another pointer for you.
