8 hours is fucking ridiculous especially since Twitch has to be babysat constantly to make sure it's actually counting the time you're watching.

I just put it on a second monitor and mute the tab. You can't mute Twitch but you can mute the tab.

Yea what's so hard about having the stream in the background? I've never had issues with twitch not giving me drops while it's muted tab

Anytime the Twitch tab isn't the foreground it stops counting. I've had moderate success by dragging the tab out of my main browser window and giving it its own, but it still randomly decides to stop sometimes even then.

Put it on your phone and have your headphones do the audio, problem solved.

You need to have the stream unmuted, but you can mute the tab itself and you'll still earn drops. That's how Twitch determines "viewership".

Yeah I usually mute the tab instead of the stream and it works fine for me(Firefox).

That said 8hours is ridiculous. It does last longer than usual since it's a convention (36hours total) but it's still a long fucking time to afk streams. The only good thing is you can afk the main stream which runs the entire time, unlike trying to get 4hours on a new game that people do their 1hour paid advertisement for then fuck off so you have to juggle streams.

Shadow stealth looks kinda cool but the trap combos don't look like something I would use all the time.

I have it on in the background but I really wish they would have given this game its own identity instead of just copy and pasting Poe 1. Don't get me wrong there is fun to be had, but I'm curious what they did with the skill tree and endgame in general.
