Anyone running something that fits sneks pretty well? I kinda wanted to jump into Heist but I don't think sneks would be good for it. Thats more of a zoomer build runner.

I'm guessing anything with predictable damage is good where you can kind of preseed fissures like harvest, big boom, essences?

Also I'm assuming Sanctum just sucks now?

I farmed Blight. Towers and smashing. But I am a Blight enjoyer.

A friend is playing Flickerstrike. He says its good dmg and tanky. So twinked a Shadow to try it out.

What game are you guys even playing lol.

Slams zerker, snaking or otherwise, is one of the tankiest things you can play. It's won multiple HCSSF race events.

But naw go ahead and listen to your friend about flicker being 'tanky', let me know how that goes for you.

Hey man I've been moving all week not even in t16 but that was the impression I got from the meta too.

Flicker isn't tanky. Trickster is tanky. Flicker is a lazy skill that, honestly, can be replaced by several much better builds with clear QoL we have now. ESPECIALLY with mercs, there's like no reason to actually be flicker outside of being a flicker fanboi.

Most of the people feel "squishy" to overtuned bullshit like Merc fights and T16.5's. You're not necessarily squishy as much as those are just giga fucking stupid. Especially "bypasses defenses" merc stuff sometimes apparently (???) including resists.

Also just a general disclaimer, get like 35+ chaos resistance if other stuff is killing you. You'll notice you'll die a lot less.

This is the last export I took of my slams guy before I rerolled

It's an insanely fat build and I wasn't even close to fully minmaxed. Another 4 levels gets you +3 more max all res, along with upgrading a few gear slots you end up at like 85 max allres total. Swapping to echoes of creation is like double my current damage. Going all the way to a 1200+ dps axe and a trinity setup is another doubling.

If you're struggling with this build it's because you're fundamentally misunderstanding something about it, or you just are not actually improving your gear in a meaningful way to do end game content.

If you're not getting at least 2 curses + other auras/benefits from your merc you probably need to fix that before anything else or just unsummon your merc so mobs don't have 50% more life until you can actually set one up properly.

Those merc fights definitely are still retarded, even with the changes.

The Smite of Divine Judgment Slayer is also a very tanky high range "melee" build thats fairly inexpensive to set up

Xevy Xevy Can I get the PoB for your black cain phantasm hat brand guy?

Pretty tanky. I don't know what my gear costs as I made it myself. Mostly harvest spam on found/bought bases.

Helm: Was 20c
Neck: Found it
Cane: (actually worthless corrupt I bought for 20c because I have passive 5 min charges and it may only work on melee attacks) otherwise 1c item
Shield: I made it with an 18c base, a 55c shaper orb and a crusader base I had with an awakener orb. Took one suffix cannot be changed. Probably cost 3 divs with the 2 div cost. But I had a double resist/lightning damage big life shield before that was just fine for 5c.
Rings: From a merc, probably 5c a piece on the highest end. I'm working on a conductivity on hit amethyst with life gained per spell hit, but I hit some shitter one worth 8 div I have to sell first.
Body armor: think it was 40c and I linked it 150 fusings. Again it's a nice gimmick, but I think you can get way more power getting something else and save a ton of tree points/a 6th socket (more duration).
Belt: 5c (same note as above)
Gloves: I made them with harvest. It did take about 70 total ichors to get the implicits I guess. So maybe 50c there.
Boots: Bought the base, harvest blasted. Ichors were fast as there''s not much I needed besides brittle.

My jewel I bought for 120c and the watcher's eye was 30c (yes really). Megalomaniac I only wanted Blessed Rebirth (a must for phantasms to stay up through AE's) and the zealotry was a nice bonus. Think it was 30c or something as well. Can snag very nice Blessed Rebirth Megalomaniacs for 1 div or less easily because of our weird skill usage.

The builds is pretty good but it's INCREDIBLY noticeable how poor the clear is without a clear merc. I've got a kineticist with Asenath and obliteration and probably the asenath alone is a must have. Also has kaom's binding for defense (we have basically no armor so this helps a TON) and perquils (because why not).

Overall I think you could get this build to a comfortable T16 blasting for probably something like 2 divs. I think you say fuck it to the Queen's Hunger and oblation and just invest points in the tree into block stuff instead of duration. Definitely try to get block. If you make my shield or a good shield with just the ES on block you can probably go Glancing Blows.

I'd probably rate this a 8.5/10 with merc, maybe 6.5/10 without merc for maps. For bossing I'd say it's 9/10 because there's ramp damage but I can take some mega hits and I block most everything. I ate a normal shaper slam with 10% hp left and all the new pinnacle guys I can face tank. Same with SIrus.

Edit: My 6th link is lvl 20 summon phantasm. I have to uncheck it in PoB because it fucks with node power stuff as it favors the minions over me.
