It's pretty profitable at 30c per map doing maven invites. I was boss rushing and finishing each map in less than 2 minutes each. Do the invite with 75+ quant and the writs pay for the maps easy. Cortex, maven chisels and awakened gems are the profit. It maybe anecdotal but valdo's seemed to drop a lot in the maps too. Don't bother with the synth rings, I had two full quad tabs of them and they just don't sell.

Edit - As an aside, the Volcanic Fissure of Snaking build IS relatively squishy, but puts out some juicy damage, even using the rage unique axe and not a high DPS rare two hander.
Also the Ice Nova of Frostbolt is a shadow of what it was last league. Still okay, but last league I walked to level 100 and most content on a scrub-level of management. I guess that is how they decide on what to nerf.

The nerfed Frost Blades for half every streamer's league start to be fissure or vortex hiero and then to have that play out with the rest of the player base all in the "Doryani's Prototype is pretty good" league. The transfigured gem Katabasis got nerfed too. The two guys playing that had to be pissed.

I usually only run T17s to wrap up achievements but I tried running memory tears this season since they can't be itemized. I had thought my disdain was amplified by my apathy for character progression by end of league, but now I'm not so sure.
T17s gotta go or they need to find some way to let them stack so that they can be sold on the exchange.

I think I've done two this league. That your modification options are limited but they also gatekeep uber content I dislike very much. The uber versions of pinnacle bosses you can generally mechanics your way through them. Hey, ten tries to take down Uber Exarch is still a win as far as the challenges are concerned. Prior to the addition of T17s I always felt like I was able to play the game the way I wanted to play. Their inclusion puts more pressure on the good builds and good farming strats when there was already plenty of that to begin with. I don't know why I can't scour the fucking things so I can go get the uber fragments and grind my face against the bosses. Sure, you can just buy fragments (which I don't really want to do) and sell T17s (which I really, really do not want to do) but it still makes no sense to me why these maps are the way they are. If I was running bitch boy T17s just for fragments it would already be a waste so why stop me. It's like game is telling me directly to stop being a hipster, stop fucking around and play the game right. Which I hate.

I think t17s just exacerbates how much better certain skills archetypes are then others compared to the mods that get rolled. Chaos, spells, cast on stun and maybe minions (idk haven't played minions in years).
Also why are there immunities to my immunities? Like lose 3% action speed every time you use a skill apparently cannot be negated by trickster or kaoms?

Gave the gauntlet a go. It was my first time doing HC PoE anything. Aside from Dungeons and Dragons I never select HC in a any game.
I went with a Puppeteer thinking SRS would be enough to get through the campaign while also being stuff I was familiar with. Killing Hillock took half a dozen tries. Died in Mervail's cave opening a chest I probably should not have. Two days later I rerolled and made it all the way to Act 10 Kitava final heart phase and died (level 74) and it was actually a good time. I played like a SUPER pussy and getting some of the uglier bosses down was cool. I was trying to use just every part of the buffalo. Can I run these heists, do these couple of oils make anything, I need a shield let me gamba a bunch from Faustus, oh shit a logbook, etc. I was mostly larping what I've seen other HC players do but after using mercs in softcore to speedrun one scuffed character after another through the campaign this was a welcome change of pace.
I'd kinda like to go again except that at the glacial speed I was playing combined with the things I need to get down in the real world I don't think I can actually get anywhere. Next event though.

Hide the tabs you give no fucks about. Toggle show, clean some up, and then toggle hide. Going through and emptying out ten heist tabs is not worth.
