Why hate Breach. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but my first and only 100 is from doing breaches and I found it fun and relaxing.

Visual clutter is godawful. Overlapping colors, ground effects, particle effects, etc. and for melee builds is easy to die off-screen because of projectiles you can't even see. Performance is also awful with all the clutter. I have a 7800X3D and a 9700XT and I'll get massive frame drops during them.
Time pressure mechanics are lame as fuck. The whole, "go fast or get nothing" just feels like shit when you "fail".
Compared to more "modern" stuff like Delirium, Harvest, or Expedition, Breach loot tables are bloated with low-value currency shards and clutter. Breachstones are the only real "good" rewards because Breachstones are the only part of Breach that is mostly tolerable. Plus, all the micro-looting is a pain in the dick.
Poor integration into modern mapping. Breaches will often spawn in super shitty spots - corners, chokepoints, walls, etc.
With Breach 2.0 they've basically fixed the shitty loot part making it feel unrewarding, but all the other issues are still there and that's the part that I hate the most.

Enjoying this so far. Kinetic Blast has superb DPS through the acts, and is good for massed mobs - I even stabilized a Breach in Act 6 lol. It has crap defense, which is why I eventually dropped it last time I played it, but it is good as a starter.

So as a first-time LA Deadeye player in Poe1, is bossing possible without an absurd amount of currency?
I'm really just trying to beat all the normal bosses and possibly farm uber eater / exarch again, not expecting to kill uber maven / sirius. Just curious if this build can even do any ubers since I'm pretty glass cannon at the moment.
I am pretty good at reaction time and shit but nowhere near on a Ben level. Just hoping I am not stuck only mapping the whole time with this character.

First time back in about 5 leagues....feels really fucking good.

It's a glass cannon map blaster, legion farmer, etc. as far as I know. You'd probably need to invest a lot of currency to get try and get it tanky, but I've never played it so not sure. I would use it to farm maps, then make another character for bossing, or respec to penance brand poison pathfinder for uber bossing.

Pretty sure I'm done with the league. Awesome mechanic, but I just can't fucking do Breach. I wish the mechanic wasn't tied to this dogshit content.
Oh, well. Hopefully they rework the mechanic a bit and figure out how to take it "core" to where it doesn't force you to do Breach. If it does, you'll basically be forced to include Breach as part of your atlas tree because of how strong the Balls are.

Breach 2.0 is hit or miss depending on your class. I league started Popcorn SRS because I had no other ideas and I can just stay in the middle and spam my skulls and then loot. Yes, I have no idea whats going on because the visual presentation is crazy. What are those walls are for other than lagging you out is beyond me.
Anyway with the right class/spec it's really rewarding. I read that fubguns poison spark is amazing, too, e.g.

Ground Slam of Earthshaking Bleed Slayer has been working mostly fine for me but you do have to really pay attention to how you are using the buffs she drops. It gets old fast having something that takes so much time, especially since like a lot of other people I don't really love the wave mechanics.

This is the fastest I've ever been end game geared with 2, 6 links and it cost me <5 div in total. I just need a better amulet and one ~10-15 div jewel.
Fun so far, but currency is really low. This is after 2 stones. The only good is most people are selling most things for dirt cheap.

Question. I have 4 divs in my Tugen. It cost 800 exceptionals. What is the best way of going about getting that? I'm guessing buying up a lot of log books and rolling for artifact drops? Or is 800 exceptionals a sunk cost fallacy waiting to happen that will throttle my future Tugen earnings?
800 before haggling? cause you could easily get it under 500.
