Still playing off and on but if I dont hit a nice jackpot soon will probably stop.

Diviner boxes seem to drop way less valuable cards than in Settlers / Necro league, and I'd argue the Arcanist boxes are pretty stingy as well.

Could be my shitty luck but I have run them.before with way better success.

Probably have done 500+ beach maps and have yet to even see a 7 years drop (scried Defiled Cathedral), unless the wiki I looked at was outdated.

I'm doing currency rolled t17 ambush scarabs and get a tink about every map. Usually double divine from an arcanist.

Maybe i should graduate to T17s but I lack damage currently. If I ever get a nice comeup I'm gonna do everything I can to up my dps so I can start doing em faster.

Don't get me wrong, I can finish most maps but it take forever.

Yeah I am still playing occasionally, just because this is the first time I played Boneshatter and I am a sucker for a good melee build. I got to level 96, but I decided to just yolo content now. I didn't realize Uber Atziri was not a "no lost exp" fight and got dropped twice being sloppy - so I just said eff it and started running all those hard corrupted maps I had gathered.

I failed my first Maven attempt, as usual in the last memory phase because Old Man can't handle that much input lol. I also burned a portal on accident which may have been enough to burn her down but, alas, need to get up the moxy to try it again. I hate that fight like Grim Death.

Haven't even dropped 4 maps for pieces for the Sirus fight yet - I think I have only seen 2 Veritania maps. Very weird. I've killed Uber Elder a while ago.

That mageblood ended up selling for 3 mirrors overnight last night. Now I gotta decide if I want to just upgrade this kboc or use it to dump into something else (really don't want to level a new char tho, I started levelling a jugg the other day but lost motivation fast).

ronne ronne thoughts on Replica Wings of Entropy vs Paradoxica for an Elemental Hit weapon? I think it has higher dps potential, but originally wrote it off as RWoE excludes the shield slot. But what do most people do with the shield in the endgame? Svallin.

I wonder if at the very least a league start scenario, RWoE, Gladiator, and Versatile Combatant might be better than Slayer and....not really sure what to consider for the weapon. Paradoxica doesn't feel like league start prices.

I'm taking one last character through the campaign and those fucking breach forts are just obnoxious. They get in the way while making everything ugly. I'm positive that some of this league's bad retention are due to how much worse it is to take a quick trip through the campaign versus last league.

20% to level 100 again, running T16 beaches is getting old but would like to not need to worry about xp before I try a full glass cannon / 8 mod build.

Hoping to hit a jackpot or two before then, though, as the 40 div I have now isn't gonna cut it.

Might try do something with Strength of Blood for next league. Kind of interesting with Slayer. This shell has 70% PDR naked (actual PDR, not armour related, so works on DoTs as well).

I'm a bit surprised that they're doing this. Events like this are usually to cover for schedule slippage and they seem to be doing ok in that regard(strictly on hitting dates, not quality of what's delivered).

The schedule is kinda slipping tho, keepers was as late into Oct as it could be, 3.28 won't hit till March which should be hitting in February. How far into March will 3.28 actual be? Conner has an interesting video he put out about poe 1/2 scheduling last week.

Early March assumes it's March 6th which would make this league 4.5 months instead of 4. That's probably why they're throwing in Phrecia because of the extra time, but with these mega-long leagues, even at 4 months, I'm pretty sure event leagues will be sprinkled in near the end of leagues from now on.

Phrecia was actually incredibly cool if you like to dabble. For some people they had to wait a week or two for their build makers to make whatever guide, but the opportunities there were crazy. Even the Ascendancies people thought were a bust like Antiquarian came online with some tech and became absolutely bonkers. If they make some buffs to the lesser ones and don't gimp the OP ones too much it could be pretty fun. Especially with knowledge of the Ascendancies so guide makers can crank stuff out for casuals.

The ascendancies are whatever, the real Phrecia league was idols.

The possibilities for money-making were near endless:

  • Destructive play setups
  • Full harbinger setups with 20+ harbinger bosses per map
  • stacked deck farming with cloister+ritual
  • ritual reduced-cost-reroll farming
  • betrayal setups to get multiple veiled orbs per hour
  • Alva temples with a near-guaranteed locus every 2-3 maps
  • gifts of the goddess were at 2d: trials of ascendancy with 4x 12% chance to have one and 4x 25% chance they're improved
  • expedition 90% life missing OHKO strat
  • Harvest with literally any idols that do anything is more profitable than harvest on live, which is still insanely profitable
  • Heist blueprints self-sustainable so you dont ever need to touch a contract

I know he's talking to a D2 streamer, but when was the last you heard Chris talk about playing PoE? It would be really interesting to have him explain why he digs up specific patches of Diablo 2(not LoD) instead of playing the game he created. But, I'm guessing this topic will never be broached, at least in the near term.
