Dominating Blow is also quite good. This guy is a speed runner and obviously knows the game very well but he has a bunch of vods up from this past week doing practice campaign runs with dominating blow

Its.... very strong.

Strike animate weapon thing looks pretty real. Same base numbers as frost blades and a bunch of other strikes with the possibility of some very large minion attacks for single target. Clear would likely be annoying unless the minions have real fast/aggressive AI, but even then you'd need several extra strikes + melee splash.

New static strike is busted I think? Ends up being ~700% effectiveness with any reasonable amount of attack speed with a phys conversion base to work from. Clear will also be quite good if it gains even 3-4 chains from the scaling charges.

Sweep is probably bad unless the AE is so giga you get 3 hits per swing from overlaps.

Will have to test new shockwave totem and see exactly how it behaves and how much AE you can get. 30% more raw damage than base shockwave is pretty attractive.

Wording on holy strike suggests the minions only attack when you do.

I like new static strike, damage effectiveness is nothing extraordinary. Stand a bit back Smite is better. Wonder how buffs will stack and fall off. RoW is a great starter weapon for most strike skill

Wondering how you scale the attack range of Holy Strike minions or if you can at all. That could be the real problem if you don't get giga clear from explosions or something. I'd imagine their strike range HOPEFULLY copies your own which means you'll probably want some +strike radius shit. Also unsure if they'll get additional strikes from +1 non vaal strikes. Still some real questions. Right now it just looks like a decent strike skill that could have pretty decent single target if you can shotgun bosses which I'm assuming you can.

The damage on static strike looks really good with high attack speed, 96% more damage from the buff. Now that I've seen the gem that might be my top choice. If the beam hits your main target that's gonna be very strong.

Too strong, too obvious. Though, so was ele hit. For comparison, wild stike's chain doesn't hit the target. Static strike's does, but had a less multiplier.

Assuming the beam doesn't hit the main target, would writhing jar worms work to chain back to the main target (for bossing)?

Normally no, but hydrosphere tech would be more optimal for that if it does.

I think Hydrosphere tech works on splash. Chain from same skill use would still have target restrictions.

Hydrosphere would result in some amount of more damage, but it's not specific to this skill. It might actually be worse on this skill because it probably requires a high attack speed to maintain buffs and the usual way to automate it is with Battlemage's Cry.

Yes the hydrosphere stuff works on any strike skill. The worm ring has a 2s cooldown, the flask will run out of charges and now we get a new 40 cdr support that will work on bmage cry.

The chaining portion normally would not work but your extra strike will hit the hydrosphere separately from my understanding which *might* chain but also normally wouldn't I believe.
