So the hype got me again. First time in years I am playing anything else than Golems, since they are just way too weak now.
I am using pohx dissertation on Righteous Fire and hope that build is even more lazy than golems. But goddamn do I hate the acts. I want to get to maps without that bullshit every season.

Appreciate the uniques last night assuming that was you, made a pretty big damage boost conpared to the 3L swords I was using.
Granted, just made it to A4, but about to do the first lab if I find the time tonight. Wasted a ton of time doing the mirages even though the rewards haven't seemed worth it - but at least the extra xp has made it a breeze to this point. Think I'm a solid 4 or 5 levels over the zone but it is slowly catching back up to me.

Get a fleschrafter and it's absurd. I'm on a 4 link at level 92 because I'm 6 linking another fleshcrafter and I'm absolutely trucking. The Vaal Absolution is like an autobomber when it's up too.

Never seen that before. Using a normal 6link right now and the next step is 96 with Doryanis.

Edit: lol bought one and ended up 6-linking it with like 200 fusings. Will try it out tomorrow. Is the chaos resist just something to ignore? I guess the bypassing resists is the thing.
I don't have any Chaos res on the minions but they do have ES, from Guardian I guess? So it should work.

The ES isn't a big deal usually, as long as you don't get too much chaos res to minions that they can't spawn because more than 100% life is converted. It's really nice because you don't need any curses for -resistance anymore so you just run ass mark or proj weakness or punishment or whatever you want for defense like temp chains. The Doryani's is proven but a pain in the dick to set up with neg res and it makes you insta die to lightning dots. It does have a very high damage ceiling. Fleshcrafter just lets you blast without thinking at a fraction of the price.
So at 200k kills total now, "ground loot" looks like this now:

Game feels way better to play and the exalt change is so great. However, if you don't know how to take advantage of the exalt change you are not going to appreciate how expensive uniques get as a result.
You can spam essences until you hit 1 other good mod then exalt slam over and over and over. This makes "day 2-3" crafts way easier to obtain but still make a ton of currency for people who are in the know. So things you can't spam exalts on (like uniques) get much more expensive as people who know what they are doing have much more currency to spend elsewhere.

Think they will buff the mirage bs considering how many patches happened before the league launched? I wasn't able to log in today, but reading reddit it seems the mirage mechanic in maps isn't much better than it is in the campaign....kind of a shame since I really liked the idea in theory.

Yeah not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing with Mirage other then doubling up on map content but that doesn't feel great as a mechanic. But I'm early maps and haven't gotten anything serious done yet so maybe things change.
Currency drop changes are great though, had a div drop in campaign which hasn't been the case in years heh.

Will try and switch elemental weakness to assassin's mark in the trigger wand. Need to sort my resists now though as I lost chaos and cold from the switch to unique chest.

As your typical brain-dead build follower, I am playing Kinetic Fusillade totems. Nice to know I jumped on the right band-wagon. It starts rough but once you get the lower duration sufficiently online, it is quite the machine gun. It also has feel-good survivability through the Acts with that early totem shield with the regen.
I am not even through the campaign yet because I was sick over the weekend (old man nasty cold) but I def second all the comments on the League mechanic. I played it steady for the fist 4 Acts or so, but the rewards were meh, so I've been skipping most since, planning to start back up in maps.
How is everyone finding the new Atlas set up?

One of the nice things about totems is how modular they are. You're now certified to do any ballista totem in the future should you see a skill you like and there's always Good_Skill_Totem available as a starter.
The atlas is way better. I'm not going to miss juggling the maps I get naturally, vendoring surpluses 3 to 1 hoping to get ones I need, buying from Kirac, resetting Kirac's shop with Kirac missions, doing missions to fill in gaps and using Scouting Reports to finish whatever's left all for atlas progression. I'm not going to miss needing to farm or buy maps I don't want to do to build up a pool of the maps I actually do want to do while juggling the favored maps system and the atlas passive nodes that modify it.
