Came across this interesting ward build. Stacks ward and uses Static Strike which snapshots all buffs for its entire 6s duration. Using with the new timeless jewel keystone that grants 25% of ward as flat cold damage when ward breaks.

Besides spamming Molten Shell, I was looking at that Cast When Ward breaks and with the limiting factor being 2 seconds (before ward restoration time stacking) the best skill I could think of was Discharge. It still has an inherent cooldown and if you cycloned for charges you could probably easily hit a comfortable sweet spot and really blow shit up.

People keep going on about how good ward is, but the snapshot clunk is just not worth it at all.

Ynda's and a huge pile of ward is all you need. You can hit 20m dps with very little investment above the cost of yndas (lol good luck on that) without the need to try and snapshot anything and just use something nice like smite.

You dont have to try to plan the snapshot at all. The keystone automatically breaks your ward when you attack and adds the flat to that attack, and static strike naturally snapshots everything. Its no different than just pressing any other attack button except static strike lasts 6 seconds (in this particular build) so the added flat from the keystone is literally always up.

EDIT: Also, when I posted that PoB last night Ynda's was 5d.... lol how quickly prices go up on some of these things.

Doubtful considering the amount of uncorrupted currently on the site. Ynda's is a little unusual because while you can sort of target it, it's time and resource constrained on crops + shipments. So at ~24d for an uncorrupted one that's quite a high price for a gamble (not many people are going to be buying up big stockpiles of them to volatile vaal gamble)
