be interesting to see how this does, there are now dozens of high production games made in china every year for a fraction of the cost of western devs. The budget for this game is under $60m, compared to $250m+ for western stuff like Wolverine, 007, Soros, etc.

these are all apparently just chinese single player games coming out this year, for just the chinese market. its only a matter of time before publishers outsource complete ideas to chinese devs for 1/10th the price of US/Europe. idiots here brought it upon themselves, thinking people want games about mental health or with awful looking characters

I hope it does well, but I also kinda want to not do really well. The Chinese Kung fury overly animated combat isn't appealing, it's like watching a low budget scripted fight in those movies, lol.

China devs aren't immune to the woke virus either. Look at what they've done to Tides of Annihilation. Plus they have their own retarded outrage mobs to deal with, like the "controversy" that Wuchang got hit with after release and ended with the studio making a bunch of idiotic changes.

Personally I think their games have all pretty much sucked so far too. Just a bunch of UE5 slop and AA (at best) knock offs of far superior From Soft/Team Ninja games. The only Chinese game I'm looking forward to at all right now is Showa American Story.

This kind of looked like the generic but pretty slew of eastern action games that have been coming out recently and I haven’t paid much attention to it until recently. Watched a video on it that went into its mechanics a bit and it definitely looks interesting now. Comes out soon so thought I’d make a thread on it.
