The hooker in the basement has been played out for a while. It's a fluffy dog joke and at this point pretty much an integral part of any plinket review. That's kinda the joke -- that it's not funny. At all. It'd just be weird to see one of these things without a hooker in the basement.

His tangents are still great, and he gets in some good one liners too. lol.

I really did like his Jack and Jill review from half in the bag. I stopped watching Adam Sandler years ago... and honestly he explained exactly why. I'd never given it that much thought. I just got bored and stopped. But I watched that and went, "Oh. Yeah. Hey... actually, he's right, isn't he?" Which is kind of an interesting thing to happen watching a movie review. heh.

There's been a lot of good stuff done by redlettermedia guys. They really know their stuff.

Mr Plinkett has even done a few commentary tracks for Star Wars - only 2 I'm pretty sure. Ep4 ( original Star Wars 1977 ) and Ep1 ( the crappy Phantom Menace ) which are pretty entertaining and informative if you can make the time to listen to it all.

The down side was I had to go into my regular place and rent the Phantom Menace DVD. First time I'd watched it in entirety since making the cinema release = bad memories.

Was an entertaining watch, but he's funnier when he's raging on star wars, the whole Titanic thing felt a bit late and the review seemed kinda disjointed

I think the problem with Titantic is that its not a terribad movie in the same vein as the prequals or new indiana jones, so the Plinkett angle is kinda lost on it. Dude should review Matrix 2&3 or something similar.
