Closest I got to Snorlax was I sitting at the SE corner of Central Park and everyone yelled Snorlax!!!! and ran many blocks for it but it was too far away for anyone to get to. I saw one in CP while I was there but it had 2 minutes left and I was halfway across the park. FYI, CP is 40 blocks long north/south and a couple of avenues wide (avenues are roughly 3 blocks in length).

I like the pokemon you can evolve a lot better like Dragonite and Charizard. Charizard looks MUCH cooler but he basically sucks compared to the gay looking dragonite. Dragonite looks like a dragon whelp from MTG...

I went up to Vermont last weekend and hatched Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan off 2 10k eggs back to back. I will say I was pretty happy with that.

Charizard is trash. Just stay at the Southeast end of the park, it's a 24/7 lure party for blocks around. Use pokeradar on your phone's browser so you can switch over and do a quick Snorlax check, or just look at everything in the area.

When I said easily it had nothing to do with being unable to find people to trade with and everything to do with the technical/gameplay details.

It's worth it, Chimchar evolves into my favorite pokemon Infernape. Flare Blitz/Close Combat (120 power stabs) makes it a glass cannon which usually goes first, Thunder Punch and U-Turn deal with its counters. It destroys Gyrados.

Got one Lapras 3 weeks ago from a lure. Haven't even looked at its stats, since it was like something level 10. That was before buddy system, so maybe he's worth making candy...

aren't all wild starter pokemon and their evolutions shit due to pokedex bug? Every single one I appraised so far was sub 50%.

What were the CPs at, 1725-ish? That's still a pretty solid capture.

and you might be right, i seem to recall that every single viable starter I've evolved was from a 2k egg.

After googling a bit, I'm no longer going after 2nd and 3rd stage starters. Annoying that I wasted so many ultras.

Today in Odaiba I saw multiple Scyther, Magneton, Electabuzz, Jynx, Farfetch'd, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Gengar, Magmar, Wartortles and Onix.

I also saw a Blastoise, Charizard, Dewgong, Nidoking, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Primeape, Kadabra, Charmeleon, Poliwrath, Rhydon, Aerodactyl, Seadra and Cloister.

Half of them I couldn't be bothered walking to get. Didn't want to leave in case a Lapras spawned on a lure and I couldn't get back on time.

Did 90k Xp today in just catching pokemon/spinning pokestops. Went through at least 100 regular pokeballs, 400 great balls, and 50 ultra balls. Hard to keep track as I was using them as I got them.

oh yeah i wasn't counting the 4th candy from a transfer. I only need 1 damn grimer for a complete pokedex and even though you need a lapras, I feel like you're gonna beat me.

Still waiting on an iOS App Store update. /sad face

I'm at 93 caught / 93 seen in my Pokedex. My wife being out of town really boosted it. I added nearly 20 things in the last week. I'm hoping to get back to downtown Cleveland this week and finish the Gyrados grind. I'm at 379 / 500 candies so a coup,e of hours on the pier would finish it.

Even when you complete your Pokedex, I still get 16 more days to complete mine, you got a head start on me ;)

Well damn. I have no idea why I thought 500. Maybe I can knock it out later today after work. I only need 6 fish in that case.
