6 years later here we are. PC was moved up from April 24th to sync with console release.

I'll get it when its on sale. I think the game is like 8hrs to finish, then its ng+ for trophies and such.

It crashed on me at the beginning of the first boss fight lol. Other than that it's my type of game. The reviews are good, hopefully it isn't too short, I'll post if it is.

Reddit isn't a single big entity with mods being the same everywhere, each subreddit has its own mods, although some mods are mods in several of them. The PS5 subreddit is a lot bigger than the Playstation one and has a bunch of Pragmata related posts. The Playstation one apparently removed a bunch but still does have a couple, and a sticky megathread(which might be why they removed the posts, cause they're anal about posting in the megathread instead). There's also obviously a Pragmata subreddit and obviously they aren't banning discussion about the game there.

Reddit is so deeply infested with feminist and misandrist opinion that they see any game which fosters/encourages a strong "Father protects daughter" narrative as somehow creepy and pedo.

I don't think I'm spoiling anything with this, but just in case....

In the game you're a security guard on a moon colony, and the young girl is actually an android built to approximate the actions/mentality of a small child. At no point is there sexual connotation or activity. She does say and do a lot of things which are pretty clearly intended to trigger they "you need to defend and protect me" vibe/instinct. And it seems it works, with many male gamers it seems to be triggering a very deep (and in my opinion natural) paternal instinct in men. People are literally calling the game "Dad Space" (as opposed to "Dead Space") because of it. Guys are even admitting it's giving them serious "Must protect her at all costs" feelings. Which to me means the games developer And this normalization, dare I say promotion, of traditional protective fatherly roles completely triggers and unhinges all the usual suspects.

Seems pretty straight forward. From reviews I've read (and as mentioned here) it only seems to be 8-10 hours total, but it's a well built game with a well built 8-10 hours according to the reviews.

Like many, I have put it on a watch list and will now patiently wait for a nice steam sale..... It is starting to feel like "Looks decent, will wait for a steam sale" is to games what "Looks OK, I'll wait until I can stream or pirate it at home" is for movies. heh
