Well the bitching worked, the CGI on the Predator is way fucking better. Leave it to Weyland-Yutani to test an Android on a planet like that lmao. IDK that looks really fucking fun to me.
Also that date there is interesting, this is one year prior to Aliens so we are going to get the fun human weaponry

It looks better than I thought, but goddamn why couldn't they just make the predator a practical mask instead of the CGI. No matter how "good" it is (and it isn't good) it will still look worse than the alternative.

Predator was motion captured for this so I think they are just hiding the mask Deadpool and Wolverine style as they have shown he came to the planet with it. This is the most futuristic Predator in film so far so I wonder if its going to be an advanced mask somehow.

Fine you want spoilers? All of this is based on interviews with the director and actually watching and slowing down the trailer.
Elle Fanning is also playing two different roles in this film, the one you see at the start of the trailer and the broken one.
The fighting Predators is "Viking" or Leader Predator and the protagonist Predators brother and however you want to add 2 + 2 that Predator family was deemed without honor or whatever, so the protagonist Predator's first hunt was chosen to be a planet that is more or less a death sentance
All of the human characters on this planet are synths. They are sent to "the most dangerous planet in the universe" to gather and field test different shit to send off to be used as weapons for Weyland-Yutani. So he is carrying her cause she knows all the dangers of the planet and this Predator got sent somewhere to die on his first hunt and is way over his head. Using her is very smart since she can provide insight and help him collect his trophies and more importantly come out of it alive. Ofcourse she is using this time to field test and gather intel on this Predator, and I am not entirely she isn't malfunctioning in some way.

You know...if they stick to that plot, and the timeline, we could wind up with a true Aliens vs. Predator movie set in the Aliens timeline, just like the original PC game was.

There is a theory online that the Predator in this movie ends up growing up to be Broken Tusk, which directly ties into AVP comics

No never going to happen.
They already had every opportunity to capitalize in the original AVP comic book line, and they tried to do it with the stupid Paul WS Anderson movie, but I'm pretty confident they'll never have things play out appropriately.
Yeah might be possible but come on it's modern day Hollywood. Do you think the zoomers that are in the writing room or the AI they're utilizing to write the script is pouring back through the established universe for the series?
