yeah this was the lion king with a predator reskin, pretty fucking stupid story but i did really enjoy the visuals of the worlds they built out of CGI. it has some pretty forced Alien lore that doesn't really make any sense but whatever

reminds me a lot of Godzilla movies too, where the best parts are when no humans (synths) are around. Those movies at least started figuring that out and leaned more and more on just Kaiju. doubt they will pump out that many of these Predator movies though, this one was barely profitable in box office.

I did enjoy this more than Killer of Killers (animated), and its not overly long which is nice. Just wish it didn't try so hard to be a stupid Disney Princess movie.

I go into pretty much every action movie with rock bottom expectations. I was entertained enough to recommend.

Making a sympathetic predator is lulz.

There were the bones of a good movie here, but it was on the bad side of 'meh'. They Predator fights were dumb CGI ninja fests, the sidekick fighting in half was dumb, there could have been so much more showing rather than telling. The CGI Predator faces were all fucking horrible. 4/10 and I would have been mad if I paid to see it.

What if we take the Predator, give him some quirky sidekicks, and have him come to love the creature he's hunting? Also, we're the real bad guys and the planet teams up to stop us from exploiting its resources because we're so awful!!

I feel pretty much the same. Take out all the zoomer crap and you aren’t left with much of a movie except maybe a cool idea that could have worked. Give me a cool Predator movie (without the terrible derp faces) that is just one escalating hunt after another with cool Predator tech (less Crouching Tiger Hidden Yautja) and we’ll be good. The first part of the movie I was at least entertained. Then the “plot” started and I just kind of zoned out.
