There may have been 20 people or so including my group. It was Meatloaf's greatest performance, and Ben Kingsley never played a finer role since he was Gandhi as the vampire lord, plus you got to see Kristana Lochens tits. Billy's and was even in the damn movie given soliloquies off of a balcony for some reason. Fucker was hard up for a paycheck.

Missed opportunity with Alone in the Dark! Being the only one there would’ve meant you were alone in the dark, watching Alone in the Dark.

I was talking about BloodRayne, alone in the dark had our group and probably about the same amount of people if I remember. I think we went and caught a matinee opening weekend on a Saturday. It definitely wasn't a packed theater, and it was probably the least funny of his movies.
I also remember when we went and saw his very first film House of the Dead, and the first time you got an actual scene from the arcade game in the movie we just busted out laughing. There's also an ideal where the black chick talks about taking fencing classes and we were like what the hell does that mean, but then she sword fights the monster man at the end. It also had Jurgen Procknow and his greatest role since Duke Leto as The surly arms dealing boat captain.

That's pretty strange. I mean I remember going and seeing that movie with my parents at the dollar cinema that it was pretty packed. Are you sure it wasn't the Russell Crowe old man Ripley version? I just know that Kevin Costner version was a pretty big movie at the time. And we even got that shitty Bryan Adams song!
