I respect the guy for putting up with an insane amount of crap. I truly actually do. Most woulda said fuck every single one of you and turned it off -- Yeah light did this with EQ Classic after like one one millionth the amount of dogging and hassling. This is just a fact and a fair point for him.
Where I start taking off points is playing favorites, covering up/being involved in corruption and favoring the cheers from the casuals over truly making a classic emulated experience. Many specific examples I'll spare blogging here.
My guess on the PPJ domain was he bought it and planned to sell it for higher. I am all but certain he never did anything but buy it is an investment for the domain name type of opportunity.
It's a shame Yeahlight wouldn't commit to classic content and lashed out like he did. That guy was the true heir to actually recreating the classic game (he ran rings around every other EQ dev combined), and he basically refused to do it content wise. We had his back and he woulda been done for a while now. Oh welp.
