Hrmm yea maybe. I remember when they added the backstab bonus and I am pretty sure when I stopped I used the timeforged dagger in I think primary, but I can't remember what I did in offhand. Either way having at least one rog dagger compared to other weapons in that same bracket will always be better for a rogue.
It use to be it didn't matter and rog daggers sucked so you would just use like SK primary wep and whatever best ratio offhand. I thought it was just primary but could be mistaken for sure it has been awhile.
Hey so I looked at their discord it looks like you have to use autoskill for it to work with any weapon, I think the command is /autoskill or /skill just set backstab to auto and it should be ok.

Yeah best way was to level to 54 or55, switch out one of your classes to MAG or simply roll a MAG in the first place as one of your trio so you could use the free class respec after AA farm to get class you want. Equip your pet with the works, and just go to DN and kill slimes in the mega slime room, where it spawned like 4-5 slimes, AFK. After several days of this AFK farm you would have maxxed AA. Or close enough that the remaining ones didnt matter. Then you switch back to your class of choice and all AA from mag become unspent, so thy can be used once switched back.
I remember doing this when I went to work, had that shit running for entire day, I would come home to 100AA EZ, same thing with overnight AA farming. That mage pet with a few certain AA to get him suer tanky, he could kill anything and his weapon with lifetap procs would keep him alive.
I had several max AA characters, I think 4-5 doing it this way.
Also it was great because legendary weapons and gear did not bind in your mage bag. So you could use the same set for other characters AA AFK farm.
