Looks like Fiona Vie Project finally deleted the direct link to their file too. While they removed the page that listed all their emu downloads some time ago, they still had the file hosted on their server as late as last month.bleh google hit me with a DMCA for the ROF client on my drive so that link will no longer work. Sorry to those that may still need it.
Up to level 57.
I'm used to playing a Paladin...not sure if I should be getting CA/CS and other defensive stuff
You should stop at 57 and get AAs. It's siginficantly faster at 57 and you will need them for Emp and PoP. Don't go 60 until you're ready to kill Emp.
Just grind to 60 then delevel to 55 at the herald of ayonae or whatever she's called. The aa xp is significantly better when everything in DN is still red and if you're doing it manually rather than with autocombat I think the time saved will be really noticeable. When you delevel you can pay to relevel back up to whatever the highest multiple of 5 you previously had was.Gotcha, I hit 58 before I saw those posts, but I had figured out how good the xp was in Dragon Necropolis. I just switched my xp to 100% AA, so I'll grind here until I get 150 or whatever the bonus cap is, I guess.
Wait what.. I can have a gharns rock in proc locker with a corrupted splinter and it will proc both? Ive just been using stat augs in main and no augs in proc.Djay , to further expand on this because it's specific to this server, Dragon Necropolis (Velious) is the best place to XP. Ideally at 55 or 56, but 57 will still be yellow and better than anywhere else. To make it a grind zone during Velious, the original devs bumped up every mob level in the zone to 60, but they kept the same stats they had as lower levels, so shit dies fast for better XP.
Also, for the proc locker, the weapon(s) you put in there use both the item proc and the proc from any gem (Wulferite, from vendor). If you have a gem in your worn weapon, and have a weapon in the proc locker, even if the proc locker weapon has no gem, the gem in the equipped weapon will not work. So ideal set up is stat gems in equipped weapon(s) and proc gems in proc locker.
Additionally, two hand weapons work in the proc locker to put the procs on 1h weapons. While I haven't confirmed it personally in DPS logs, I believe that you can put two proc gems in the 2h proc locker weapon and get them both on your primary 1h weapon if using the OP warrior shield spec option.
Yes, all the augs in the proc locker slot will also proc.Wait what.. I can have a gharns rock in proc locker with a corrupted splinter and it will proc both? Ive just been using stat augs in main and no augs in proc.
Trying to think of priorities for the various classes in Enc/Rog/Mnk.I have about three loops I make in the rat area, gathering them all up and then slashing through them with backstabs...just hit 100 AA. Basically getting an AA every 2-3 ratmen. At this rate, they should just gift everyone 150 AAs at level 55. Doppleganger is cool...pulling 20+ ratmen and watching 3 copies of my Gnome backstabbing them all is hilarious.
So I'll probably get 50 or so more AA, then go kill Dozekar and start Luclin. I need to figure out which other AAs are the biggest bang for the buck...there's a couple enchanter ones that add Runes or debuffs enemies when they hit me...those might help with survivability during boss fights. Maybe Chaotic Backstab or whatever it is that gets me backstab crits. I see the temptation to just sit here and get 1000 AAs, but I'm getting restless.
Charm uses pet bag, yeah. On your pet toolbar, you can set up a button called "health" as a command and it will list the pet stats (can also type out /pet health, I think).I got to 150 AAs. It dropped from about 26% per kill to about 11%. I still have stuff I want to get, but that would probably be true even with 300. I should probably at lest get some of the Weapon Affinity ranks to get more heal procs, though.
If I charm/Dire Charm a pet, do they still use the stuff in my Pet Satchel? Anyone know what the parses are like for pets on this server? Better to use a big dmg 2H or just the best ratios?
I do need to start using poisons, though.
