I kept thinking it's like a better version of that movie with Lou diamond Phillips, the 5th power or something. It's been a long time since I've seen it. I don't remember it being bad but I know it was a Satanist serial killer performing some ritual or whatever.

Are you thinking about The First Power? I had that one on LaserDisc but traded it away to a buddy of mine. He liked it, but I didn’t, for some reason I can’t remember now.

Tough to watch that review when they use less cuts for Liam Neeson jumping over a fence than this guy uses for 5 seconds of dialogue.

I do believe him that the movie is shit though.

Some Seven vibes in it in the first half, and it feels like you are set up for a good movie. That ultimately unravels by the end.

Big name distribution-- but the script is B movie stuff.
