That's not a bad starting roll, but the thing is that you can get succubuses (which evolve up to lilith) from normal farming. If you have the patience with rerolling, it really is better to get a Valk, Green Odin, or Viper Orochi as your starter, since you can ONLY get those from the rare egg machine (which means pumping money into it if you've already progressed too far to think about rerolling).

Believe me, if you get into the game and progress through the technicals, you will start wishing that you had gotten a decent starter...before I got lucky and pulled a valk after paying $30 for rolls, I was seriously considering tanking my entire account to roll for a valk.

Just think of it this way....every time you reroll, you are saving $5. That helps ease the pain of rerolling on a gold egg.

Editted to add: I rolled well over 50 times before I got a Vritra, and if I knew then what I know now, I would have kept rerolling.

The way I view it is... unless you specifically need that monster on your team over and over again, and not just for a specific resist... reroll.

If its a healer girl, reroll.

If its a Shiva (keep the account, but reroll)

If its a Viper (keep the account, but reroll)

If its a green odin... go with it.

If its a Valk/Greater Valk... go with it.

If its an Amaterasu 5 or 6*... go with it.

If its Venus/Yomi... maybe

If its any of the indian gods besides Shiva... maybe

If its Neptune go with it.


There are a couple viable high level teams... if you dont roll one of the key parts to start with... farming it may be impossible or require a ridiculous amount of money and STILL be a random chance.

Greater Valk is the only non farmable part of the Healer team. But getting 2xEchidna, 2xSiren, 2x Succubus isnt all that much fun...



Friend started playing with me... he started with a Shiva... I started with Amaterasu. He hates life, I use his Shiva on Mask/Sprite days, he tries to use my amaterasu as much as possible.

I can't believe people reroll Amaterasu accounts. Yeah, she's terrible at 5 stars, but it's really not that difficult to struggle through a couple weeks and evolve her to 6 stars where she easily becomes one of the best leaders. It's like putting the game on cruise control.

Seriously. It is. Very awesome. Yomi is fucking incredible too and should not be underestimated. The 6* Yomi at least doubles your time to move orbs, maybe triples. Every board ends up being a great combo

Surprisingly most players I know who are high rank rarely use their Amaterasus anymore. She's awesome for a long time but eventually she'll start collecting dust (not really used in end game).

I pulled one and evolved her a while back but I have yet to use her at all late in the game.

Okay, so after the travesty that was my learning run through the game, and then my reroll once I started to figure some things out I ended up with a 5 star dragon rider. Light/dark orb changer. I figured he wasn't terrible, and enough to get me a little further into the game to figure shit out.

My big questions are, even if I do reroll and get a god or something decent, what the fuck do I fill out the rest of my party with? I've got a decent all dark party with the dragon rider and some kind of vampire dude and a break armor guy, but then what do I fill out the rest of my party with? I've got no idea what's optimal here. Carbuncles? Those slime fuckers? Little goblin guys? What colors should they be? It seems like stacking colors isn't always optimal as you can end up pretty well fucked with none of your colors on the board for quite awhile. Even with the orb changer, my dark team can still get curbstomped with some unlucky boards, and it doesn't seem like dark is all that great to begin with since it's not bonus damage or anything.

And then what I should I be doing with power/evo fusion? Should I be leveling up the little shits filling out my party, do they get better as time goes on? I've got a carbuncle evo'd up to whatever the hell they evo up to, they heal 500hps now, seems decent when I can't get a healer friend. Or are all the guys filling out my party just chumps waiting for me to get a rarer guy who doesn't fucking suck? None of this kinda shit seems to be covered in any material I've read.

You can use third party apps to backup your dat file, then make a new one. Then you can swap them around as needed.
Not something I'd be willing to do, but I get why some people do it.

On the topic of starters, I rolled a 5* Indra when I began, and now wish I had held out for something better. Indra made most of the early and mid dungeons laughably easy, but now he isn't so great. I never use him in my leader slot, and I almost never have a need for his active. Occasionally it saves me, but having a better mob there would have been nicer.

That is the most important P&D file you have, doesn't matter when you back it up, just do so. Seriously, everyone should do it. You have any problems with your ipad/phone/whatever or move to a new device and you don't have that file? Goodbye account. It's only a few bytes but it is effectively your user/pw to their server that ties to your account.

As mentioned, when you do it doesn't matter, everything is stored server side so there's no retakes at rolling on the rare egg machine etc.

Borrowed this from SA, it's a rough list of what will be coming in 5.0 compared to 4.2 (Spoilered for length)
Besides the new dungeons, new Gods and the new monsters, this is what I know about ver 5.0 that involving monsters we already have:

1. New evolution of heart orb changers(Titan, Siegfried, Cuchullin, Valkyrie and Vampire). Their stats all get decently enhanced, but that also means another 4M exp to feed. So, better start preparing the evolution material and some food to eat after evolution.

2. Ultimate evolution of the 5 starter dragons. For people who doesn't have Norse Gods, this is the closest thing you can get. For people who does, you can skip this.

3. The leader skill of the 5 elementals(Shaitan, Undine, Sylph, Genie and Thanatos) got enhanced to 2.5x HP to monsters with same color. This makes Elemental + Norse God to be a great new strategy, you might find some dungeons you used to think difficult becomes a lot easier.

4. Vritra's skill get enhanced to 100k damage when at 1 HP. Also the cooldown is reduced by 5 turns. So yes, put him in a zombie team and now he can kill Neptune in the Hera dungeon in two hits, you don't even need poison anymore.

5. The ultimate evolution of Ogres(the two-colored one) get an active skill. 30k damage to a single enemy.

6. Ultimate evolution of the legendary dragons. Still pretty useless IMO. But they are not that ugly anymore.

7. I guess we finally can have light/light venus and dark/dark hades.

8. New evolution of the demons. The minimum cooldown of their active skill becomes 5.

9. The active skill of the blue Odin get changed to: 50x ATK damage of dark attribute to a single enemy.

10. The 3 star form of toy dragons now have skills too.

And of course there are also some systematic upgrades:

1. Max monster box increased to 500.

2. Max friend number increased to 150.

3. The team preset feature everybody was talking about.

Yes. She carried my team for a long time. Her and the vampire lord I got on my 2nd rare pull.

I think he's referring to the leader skill that extends orb movement time. I honestly don't find it that useful, but every once in a while I find myself a row short when doing movements for a long setup.

Honestly I wouldnt keep the Lilith, shes farm-able later down the line. She's helpful yes, but not worth it for a starting monster. Aim for one of the rarer gods

So I just started playing this game today and on my very first roll through the tutorial dungeon I got a 7 star "Underlord Arch Hades". It's not the Valk that everyone keeps talking about getting but it looks pretty impressive. Should I keep it or start over?

I can't even use him because he started at L30 and has a 30 "cost" when I only have like 26. Question: If I do keep him, do I equip him right away when I'm able to and just have a 1 monster team or wait even longer?

I would keep him to use. You can't farm him. He is looked for for his resists for several high end dungeons.

I'd keep him. Send me a friend invite...336,442,202. I have Odin up almost all the time and that alone will get you far enough along to start using that Hades. Just my opinion.

If you do send me a invite, make sure you have @RR in your name...Otherwise you might get wait listed.

Still been running MSK all day. Even with the 2x skill up holiday I am still 0/6 today. Really would like to have max skilled one, but not looking like that will happen. Sucks that I've only been running it since it opened and couldn't accomplish it.

Managed to max two ADK's, have a third but he's at skill level 1 and I don't really know if it's worth it or if I even wanna bother trying.
