OK I'm jut using titanium to back up my main file(Yomi) and doing rerolls while stam is fucked. How do I get in to the files to save the data48.bin file manually? When I just plug the nook tablet in to my laptop I can't find any of this stuff. Would like to save some other potential starters.

I'm sure this is covered in the thread, but this shit is 31 pages long now.

Well yes, Odin makes it fine, but I was talking about a 50% fire resister. Need like 720RCV siren with that setup.

You need a file explorer with root access, I assume you have root since you have titanium installed, so just get ghost commander or es explorer or something like that. It's in /data/data/jp.gungho.padEN

While data048 is technically only the one you need, I'd backup the whole lot anyway, mismatches between the login and other files can lead to weird glitches like metal dragons showing up at the wrong time and being inaccessible etc ( not to mention getting the stupid 'wow look !' animation the five hundredth time you see some monster because you aren't saving box status )

OK I got this and I have no idea how to back anything up. I hate to derail, but is there any chance I can get a step by step thing for backing up multiple accounts with Ghost Commander?

On rerolls I got like 6 of the fuckin fire healer 5* bitch. I did just now get a 7* Minerva though, would like to save that as something to play with at some point I think.

Still amusing that even though accounts 1 and 2 are about same rank and both have no money spent on them... the amaterasu acccount can run experts and masters... and account 2 with the greatervalk cant.

Sure, there's a few steps to getting it easy to switch, I'll spoiler them for people not interested.
First things first - before mucking around with anything, just make a plain backup of the data048.bin.

Open ghost commander, go into the menu, then go application->settings and tick 'Show root and mounts' under Advanced

Now go into the /data directory, you should see stuff

Under that go into data again, and you'll get a huge list of com.android.* shit, just keep scrolling down to the bottom to find jp.gungho.padEN

Under that you'll have files dir, so go in there and you'll have a bunch of data*.dat files

Select data048.bin, then do a long press on it, choose copy, and copy it somewhere safe, like your sdcard ( once it's on there you can back it up to your pc or whatever )

Once you've done that, go back up to /data/data and make a copy of jp.gungho.padEN, call it jp.gungho.padEN.new

Now the shitty part, you need to change the permissions on the files in the copy, because android copy sucks ;p

First look at the owner of the original folder - it'll be something like u0_a181 or some such ( it's under the folder name in ghost commander )

Now in the new one, change the files in it to have the same owner.

If you don't do this, when you try and use the new directory, the game will just crash to desktop ( because it can't read the files )


Once you've done that, you can swap between the two accounts by closing PAD and then renaming the directories - e.g. rename jp.gungho.padEN to jp.gungho.padEN.amaterasu and then rename jp.gungho.padEN.new to jp.gungho.padEN

Can't find any "owner" stuff on the nook. Under the folder it says "drwxr-x--x app_84 app_84"

Copy is the same except "root root" in place of the app_84 part.

I'll annoy you with more questions about this once I get the basic shit working=P

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but this is clunky as fuck.

This morning I suddenly have 10 StEs on my friends list, instead of the usual 2 or 3. One valk on the whole list, instead of the usual 8. For the fire skydragon I guess? Some of us are still trying to farm a succubus here! What do you do with 3 mechdragons, start feeding for skillups?

Hop in IRC or ask questions on here. Be prepared to reroll for a good starting monster. I'd advise you to keep all of your other stones until Thursday.
That also reminds me to go shop for some cheap apple/itunes gift cards...

Hoping to get at least 2 rare gacha rolls saved up for thursday... tough being non IAP But the idea of spending 5 bucks to roll a golem... yeah not so much.

I didn't realize the 28th was a double event - I thought the healer - 7 star event was ending and the new godfest was beginning. I'd feel silly for 'wasting' my 5 stones and pulling (another) genie, except I am pretty confident I would have just saved until the 28th and pulled a genie anyhow, so whatevs!

Keeper of the dark is just random Tuesday dungeon encounter at battle 5 right? 3 runs of the water one since its 100% safe for me to auto pilot, 3 water, 2 light keepers haven't seen a dark

Yes you can get it on any of them, although running rainbow keeper (if you can) is your best shot at it. I believe you always get a light or dark keeper the round before rainbow, and it's a 100% drop, so in theory you have a 50% chance each clear of getting one. In reality, you'll get 100% of the one you don't want!
