Saying that Rainbow Keeper is the reason dark doesn't get good HP modifiers is a little questionable. Consider that #1 - Plenty of other monsters get similar stats (eventually). In the long run you'd likely replace your rainbow keeper, but still not have the multipliers other teams have. #2 - Light also doesn't get good HP modifiers OR rainbow keeper.

I don't know, it's not completely ghetto. The busty starter dragons now have 2x ATK and 2x RCV. Combined with Persephone you'd get 3X ATK 3X RCV 1.5X HP. When I was doing my spreadsheets for teams, I actually did my dark team too, based on what I have in my box - which is nothing special at all. You could always switch things around to cover weak spots, if you needed more HP or ATK or whatever, but here is what I had:
Again it's kinda hard to read, but 25803 HP, 23439 ATK, 5742 RCV, which was a little weak in HP & ATK but really good on RCV compared to some of the other teams I ran.
Edit: Of course, this is all at max level. These people that are blowing through things with their mono color teams though, they are high level too. A level 30 of each won't cut it.

That wasn't my complaint. Where do you get these Dark Starter dragons? I sure as fuck didn't have a choice of a dark dragon on my start screen. Oh, I gotta pull a lever to get that too? One I've already pulled 6 times thanks to some very generous people from RR gifting me pulls?
Also, making up new names for shit is fucking gay and it needs to stop. What the fuck is a whiskey dragon? What the fuck is a busty evolution? What the fuck is an enchilada? That one is more fucking letters than the word you're replacing. All it's doing is confusing the shit out of new people reading this thread and trying to figure out what's going on. I know, because I was one of them.

Actually you probably have a good point - I don't know if the starter dark dragon is farmable? I know you can farm a lot of the starter dragons in various special dungeons, like the current fire dungeons are dropping red starter dragons. Dark dragons always seem to be the lil' black dragons though and not spinas. You can get it from the level 20 friend gift pull, that's how I got mine, but that's somewhat limited as well, unless people randomly send you gifts and you have a 1/5 chance each pull.
Whiskey dragons are Ancient Dragons, they are each named after a whiskey brand I guess, Ardbeg, Bowmore, Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Caol-Ila. Calling them the ancient dragons makes more sense to me though. Busty evolution is the horrible translation on the chinese wiki - I think it's supposed to be ultimate evolution? Anyhow it's the one that gives them two colors, and you do it through the Power-up fusion instead of the Evolve Fusion (Hell if I know why). Rippers are the resist dragons, they really don't have a good naming convention after they evolve out of the lil' stage, so what should people call them? Enchilada is Echidna, and that one I can completely appreciate.

Dark starter isn't farmable, that was my point. The only way to currently obtain them is through yet another random pull, which was my bitch with the system to begin with, so saying that using the dark starter to correct the fact that you can't farm a team is faulty from step 1.
I am, I dunno what the fuck is wrong with me today. Apparently I gotta start drinking, cuz I'm just pissed at everything.

I guess the only way you could 'farm' the dark starter is to create alt accounts and send gifts to your main account once they hit rank 20. Or have someone else do this for you. The rumor is that he'll pop up in the legendary dark dragon dungeon, but I'm not sure, since Red/blue/green have showed up in other special dungeons and light/dark did NOT.

Actually I'm looking at the chinese wiki, and it looks like there is one dungeon where the dark & light starters drop, and that's the ancient (whiskey) dungeons, which will probably be coming up in...5-7 weeks, if they do ancient blue, legendary blue, ancient green, legendary green, ancient light, legendary light, ancient dark, legendary dark.

The tutorial roll is way too important. If they added in a very rare machine that only put out silver/gold eggs and cost 10 stones and the other rare machine was unchanged, would you use the 5 stone one? I sure as Hell wouldn't.

You wouldn't even need to put in a new machine. Just make everything farmable. I don't have an Odin. Okay, where's the Odin dungeon? Over there. Go grind one out. I get that it already exists, but take this for example..I don't currently feel I'm at the place in my builds where I can be doing Hera or Zeus with under 30 stones. When's the next time I'm gonna be able to get either of those? A few months? What's the average lifespan of a customer on this game? I'm gonna guess shorter than the time it takes for those dungeons to come back around.

What are you using in your dark team currently ? I have Loki, 2x chaos dragon knight, 2x vampire duke as my 'farm' team on my loki account, and they have 9600hp, with persephone friends that usually comes out around 16k. This is a zero IAP team, that has had almost inconcievably bad luck on rare pulls ( the only other god than Loki I have gotten is persephone, who is a straight up replacement for loki ).
The 16k doesn't measure up to dual parvati say, but you still have decent survivability and enormous recovery, 1 heart match gets like 6000 health, a 4 hit combo will heal you from 1 to full. Plus there's nothing really to complain about with rainbow keeper - he only has like 150 less atk than a fully maxxed cdk anyway.

Wondering if I should start working more seriously on Freyr since he's getting another evo as well with the double fire and a bit ore dmg/hp. Just dunno if 2x atk/rcv is worth it over the 1.5atk/rcv/hp of Shiva. Even after the ultimate evo he'll have less personal HP/ATK than Shiva. His active of 1.5x fire atk for one turn is decent I guess, but nothing amazing. I suppose he'd be more of a support char so it's him vs. Horus really. Lower HP/RCV, higher atk. Hmm...
