Plot: After an altercation between Alex, the president's son, and Britain's Prince Henry at a royal event becomes tabloid fodder, their long-running feud now threatens to drive a wedge in U.S./British relations. When the rivals are forced into a staged truce, their icy relationship begins to thaw and the friction between them sparks something deeper than they ever expected.

It's refreshing to see some LGB film options lately.

I saw the blurb for this in some email and got thoroughly disgusted halfway through reading it.

Spouse wanted to watch this, so I had to sit through it.

Overall, the live action equivalent of yaoi fanfiction - more geared towards teenage white girls (now 30something spinster white women) than it is towards gay men. The sex is extremely tame, and if this was m/f, it would almost certainly be PG-13.

Plot feels like it's the combo fever dream/wet dream of some Democrat staffer - female President who is from (where else?) Austin, and they manage to use the Power of Gay to turn Texas blue while ignoring literally the entire Rust Belt as part of their 'brilliant' reelection strategy. Has the obligatory Progress Pride flags, shoehorning of trans issues into a movie that is ostensibly supposed to be about The Gays, etc.

Easy 1* for most people here. I'll give it 2 because [1] casting Stephen Fry as the King who is chafing the willies of the main characters was actually a pretty funny move, and [2]
the actors are handsome.
