They offered me the job but I turned it down. We never really got into the details about the relocation but he did say they would pick up the cost of everything and seeing how desperate they are I have no doubt I would have come out way ahead on the move. Having the guy doing the interviewing who would be your immediate boss tell you over lunch about how he was a functioning heroin addict for 15 years at his previous job doesn't instill the confidence I need to relocate 2500 miles.
