I'm no PVP expert but as it is it is literally impossible for anyone to kill me while I have my good armor on unless I let them. Sutekh and I had a go at it the other day and it was kinda stupid. If you locked us in a room together no one would be victorious until the loser's armor literally broke. I tried the strategy of digging under sutekh where I knew there was a chasm directly beneath but that was a little silly and probably wouldn't have killed him either.I've looking into a mod that will allow stats increases on armor. This may allow a more dynamic pvp environment.
Pretty sure a maxed out sword (sharp 5, fire etc..) will damage health even if you have the best armor on. I never managed to kill Sutekh when he attacked us at the church but I did see his health go down when hit. Maybe it was from the falls? But I think my armor is maxed out too and I did get damaged a couple times.I'm no PVP expert but as it is it is literally impossible for anyone to kill me while I have my good armor on unless I let them. Right now there's kind of a weird problem where the difference in power between the armor I wear while adventuring/pvping and the armor I wear when building our magnificently large church is huge.
I don't really think it's a problem that needs to be solved. PVP is sort of fun but the base mechanics aren't very compelling and it isn't a huge selling point. Combine that with it being a nightmare for your armor's durability and there's just no value in improving PVP.
Now if you made it so that players couldn't damage your armor's durability I might be more interested in it.
You could but with 2 enchants you can still easily hit the armor cap from all sources, just repairing it would be more frequent due to no unbreakable3. With 1 enchant you'd get the armor cap from physical damage, which is where almost all the pvp damage comes from.Is there currently a maximum number of enchants possible on one item with the enchant shop? The shop allows you to add everything on any item. Unbreaking, protections (x3), thorns, respiration, aqua is on my helm atm. Limiting it to 1-2 enchants per item might work for your purpose as well.
