So how is the season going to end?
I mean, are we going to have a winner from each division and that's it (so 4 winners)? Is there going to be a post season? Will there be playoffs within each division? Will the winners of each division eventually play one another until a "super bowl" type of scenario?

I don't think I'd get a rat ogre at this point if I was playing Skaven. I tend to build two gutter runners that are ball hawks and support them with blitzers instead.

I asked Cutlery about this before. The problem with a post season is that the majority of the league is going to be stuck waiting around doing nothing waiting for the post-season to finish up. As I understand it, once the season ends, the top 2 in each division will trade places with the bottom 2 in the next division up. Then the league will be broken up so that each division is separate league, which makes it much easier to handle adding/dropping teams mid season.

Yeah, Gav's got the story straight. The way playoffs work in game is that the top "whatever" many in each division would go into a playoff pool and battle it out. This creates a couple of problems.
1 - We'd have D1 guys matched against D4. Not terribly fair for the winner of D4 to just have his guys cremated in the playoffs.
2 - Depending on the depth of the playoffs (8 teams probably?), the other 24 teams would end up sitting out for 3 weeks while the playoffs happened, which I didn't think was something that everyone wanted to do. Now, it's probably easier to get 4 games/2 games/1 game done in less than week, but you've still got scheduling conflicts, so there's no way to guarantee that won't happen.
So, as it stands now, the season is 7 games and done. I've heard of leagues awarding prizes to top in each divisions, and other stuff for things like best player and whatever, but I don't know if that's cash or trophies or what. I'll have to look into it. And yeah, at the end of the season, the top 2 and bottom 2 in each division will be moving up and down, accordingly, and I'll be making separate leagues (similar to how BB manager is setup currently).
The only real questions for season 2 will be how many people want to stick with it (and hopefully if you're getting blown out in your division, you'll be a much better fit in the division below you and have more fun in the game next season), what kind of recruitment we get (right now Phazael is sitting in the wings waiting for a spot to open, and Disdain got into the Open League a few days ago, so I dunno if he's up for competition or what), and then whether or not we want to play a longer season that's double round robin or something.
We can talk about that for sure though -- whether you guys would want to play a 14 game season as opposed to 7 (more time to develop players, but also longer between the ability for you to drop your team or rebuild it), and then whether or not you want playoffs for Season 2 in say the top 4 teams in each division (Which could be cool, and would give more bragging rights than something like "I just had the best record in the league").
I'll be out for most of the day, and probably only checking infrequently, so you guys can add your input on that and we'll talk about it.

I was actually complaining about my goblin game vs gavinrad where I showed up with 14 guys and at one point only had two trolls on the pitch.
there were multiple turns where I had injuries on two consecutive blocks.
although it was pretty lolz when I went for a 1 turn TDD and the troll ate my goblin

Yeah the goblin getting eaten really was pretty epic. I'd even said I was gonna let you score if you managed the toss, cause you'd been getting beaten pretty savagely that game, and then your troll eats the dude. Was pretty amazing

I don't know about everyone else, but I wouldn't mind having a couple weeks downtime between starting the next season.
Couldn't we do something like:
Season ends
Leaders of D1, D2, D3, D4 go into a new "playoff league/tournamet/whatever"
D1 team plays D2 team and D3 team plays D4 team
Winner of D1/D2 plays winner of D3/D4
Super Blood Bowl winner is announced
New season is started with whatever new league structure we want
Yeah, you might have a the D1 winner playing the D4 winner, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Hell, stuff like that happens all the time in regular sports and that's how you get amazing upsets. Anyway, the maximum downtime would be 2 weeks (realistically less) which I have no problem with personally, but I don't know about everyone else. Hel, I'd be looking forward to spectating during the 2 playoff and 1 championship game.
I just think it would be cool to have one, final supreme champion each season.

Playoffs are possible, but they also come with another mechanic - they add several extra games worth of SPP to the winners. You could say that its the benefit for winning, but moving up a division is already a benefit, and furthermore, does the top guy really need an additional benefit?
And, I also want to add that for season 2, everyone who wants to play will have a place. We'll be able to craft the divisions with much more flexibility with knowledge from season 1 under my belt

That's true and I didn't think about it. But on the other hand, it adds several more chances to have one of your key players seriously injured or killed. Judging by how insane the injuries and deaths have been after only 3 weeks into the season, I think it's a valid balance to getting extra SPP. Even moreso because in the playoffs you'd be playing against teams that a) have coaches who know what they're doing and b) probably have some fairly leveled-up players who can inflict some damage.
What's the point of a week long break in between seasons? It's not like we're stressing out over time with 1 game/week right now.

Well, there's gonna be some teams that are seriously busted up, and then I'm gonna need time to get in touch with everyone and see whether they're staying in, keeping their team; staying in, switching their team; or dropping out. After that, the league is going to need to be reformed and split into the appropriate divisions so that we don't run into trouble with not having enough players. All of that is going to take me physically talking to everyone (or them posting here) and then having them all log in to app their team to the correct place and for me to keep it all sorted. I'm not saying it's an exhaustive process or anything, but it's probably gonna take more than a few days to get everyone on the same page.
