Tonight's the night.
Yesterday was good, but not because of Mission Impossible. I kinda liked the movie, but it's really long (2 hours, 47 minutes) and slow, filled with non-action. The rest of the day was good, though.
Then there's Rick & Morty tonight. I'm looking forward to it.

How is it in 2025? I honestly haven't seen it since I think the fourth season in 2019. I did enjoy the first few seasons, and the spiritual spin-off Solar Opposites show.

and scroll down, as time passes and the names get more feminine and/or foreign the show got less funny. It was somewhat watchable with Justin riffing with himself as the voice actor and inserting jokes as he went but with him gone it's just garbage now

I saw a criticism that said “Rick and Morty now is what Rick and Morty originally would’ve made fun of. It started off as a smart/goofy Scifi satire but now it’s watered down.”

paraphrased. But not sure how accurate that is. Pretty much the only tv I watch now is what my wife is watching: handmaids tale, 90 day fiance, you (Netflix), etc.

I’ll just play on my handheld pc or read Scifi books while she watches her shows.

Ok, I really really liked the first episode. Quite a few laughs, including the after credits thing. Good start to season 8.

The background art on this show is top notch now. Its really been improving the past few seasons but this season it takes the cake.

Tonight was a decent episode. It wasn't as good as episode 1, but it wasn't trash either. Had a few funny moments. I enjoyed.

Felt like "the last" Citadel episode to wrap up that story arc while filling in fan plot holes by presenting clone vs non-clone Ricks and their knowledge + capabilities. Why there were Ricks on an assembly line for snacks for example.
