Was Ali mad early on? Fuck yeah. He was mad.
He had just won the Gold Medal, came home to Kentucky, is walking down the street and hears someone say... "Hey Look, there goes that American Inventor that won the Gold Medal".
But Ali left the NoI in 1975.
Nobody here is even a microscopic fraction of the athlete he was, the more impressive part of him is we are equally dwarfed by the amazing human being he was. Yeah, he made mistakes, treated Frazier awfully, did some shitty things, but he was never trying to be perfect, he was always trying to be a better man.
