My CSB time:

At the 95 Foundations festival, every time during the 3 days I went past the restaurant in the Burbank Hilton, Lemmy and Jim Martin (ex Faith No More) were at the bar drinking. Both were relaxed and talkative if you approached them but smelly as fuck. When Motorhead played there they became, to this day, the loudest band I have ever heard bar-none. The people I was with decided to leave to go up to our rooms and I could still hear them on the floor we were staying on (was 10 or so floors above the place they were playing).

Ahh the days of college radio.
