Damn, dude was a legend for early country music - especially the outlaw sound. Figured it was a drug overdose. I know he had some heroin problems which can't be great at that age.

He was on tour until just recently. Saw today someone say they saw him 3 weeks ago. I saw him and Willie together last year in New Braunsfels on the river.
