It is difficult for me to overcome the compulsion to try to get all four weapons up

I've been playing Brotato a lot more lately, because they put it on Game Pass. I needed a new daily achievement for my Microsoft Rewards, so thought I would give it a try.

I had it originally on Steam, but didn't invest a lot of time in it because I had other games to play at the time, but now I find myself thinking up the different strategies I need to get an achievement each day. Earlier it was just a matter of getting some kills or buffing a stat high enough, but now I'm trying to figure out how to win Danger runs with different characters every day.

brotato has the best meta out of any survivor game that I have played so far. For me it has has the most replay value.

Yeah, brotato is my number 1 survivor game. A lot of people gave it flack because it didn't have meta progression. Issue I find with metal progression in most of these games is that its not balanced well and once you get a decent amount, the game becomes a cake walk.

I'm a big DRG:S fan and update 02 is on the horizon. That boss encounter looks fuckin intense.

Finally beat Hades the other day so time to play something new in this genre. Slay the Spire was too hard for me. I got nowhere in that one. Think I'll start The Darkest Dungeon next unless someone got a good suggestion for the Steam Deck playstyle.

Yeah I didn't take to Slay the Spire the first time I tried it either. Decided to give it another try a year or two later.

It's a fantastic game and it's actually quite easy at the base difficulty, just takes a little bit to navigate the initial learning curve.

Only downside to Slay to Spire is the game play balance is very tight. You don't have much margin of error for mistakes or how you build your deck. You could also try Monster Train, very similar to StS but is more forgiving, has less of a learning curve, and more variety in play style/builds.

I can usually beat the first map but after that they get so much HP and do lots of damage.

Tried watching some guides but Im not improving much.

Did you find Baalorlord's channel? If Slay the Spire were an Olympic sport he'd somehow win all three medals every time.
Yea I think I watched a few of his like a year ago. Will give it another shot. He seems to have the 'tism to play this game on another level.

What Guy is best to learn how to beat the Spire? Been using the first one mainly and tried the dagger guy a little bit. Still getting owned so bad I need to lie down after a while.
