Different genres and stuff, but yes it doesn't sound good, although not sure how much this cost to make.

Wouldn't say it's a full flop like some of these other "For IGN only" games that end up selling 3k, but there's a solid chance it will be considered a flop by Sony nonetheless which I'd assume anything less than 1m would be, especially for a full priced game(so clearly something not aimed at a niche audience like they do with some indie games). In fact I assumed this was a mid priced game from what I had seen on Twitch since it kinda looked like an indie rogue-lite but apparently it is sold for 70euros, so I doubt they were aiming for indie games sales levels.

Budget was reportedly 76 million. 22 million in revenue thus far. At least it isn’t in the billions like Bungie. So there’s that I guess.

Returnal was pretty neat gameplay and mystery wise, though ultimately the story was just a bit too weird for me. I did appreciate the difficulty curve.

I don't have to relate 100% to a character to play a game, but I can't be bothered with shite characters like Abby from TLOU2 or this douche. Plus he looks too much like the dude from the iZombie show

i got banned on ERA for like a year when i said i didn't wanna play as an old ugly grandma in a thread about games you won't play (returnal)

wonder how fast i'd be perma banned if i said i don't wanna play as a street shitting pajeet. although honestly if this game had you conquer a planet by shitting and raping all the aliens then it might be fun

300k copies sold in 2 weeks is lol, there are at least 3 million ps5 pro owners so not even 10% of them give a shit about this game, and there are almost no games with PSSR (PS5 Pro) features either so quite the brown stink eye.

If this wasn’t $70 I’d give it a go. I liked Returnal well enough, but Saros is short apparently. If I’m going to drop $70 I’d rather get something longer/better(?) like Crimson Desert
