Capitol Hill is the big area with a lot LGBTQ stuff, but also really cool bars and restaurants. Pretty much every place in Seattle has a drag show. If you want to see giant homeless encampments go to downtown. You shouldnt have much trouble walking by an alley and seeing people smoking meth or pissing on the sidewalk.

Incase you were gonna do that rainier tour, if it’s cheaper i’d just rent a car and drive up to longmire/paradise. I’d do it on a weekday and leave early (prob a 2.5 hour drive). It’s pretty epic.
