I really can't watch shows one week at a time anymore. I don't think I'd like severance as much if I wasn't able to binge it out in a couple weeks.

I liked s2 a lot but man if I had to watch it just once a week I think I'd hate it.

I'm 100% sure that my enjoyment of season two was diminished by the release schedule. Not getting next-episode followup isn't a big deal when the wait is only the length of another episode. Waiting another week to see if a thread advances fucking sucked and this season did it to me a couple of times.

I've stopped doing week by week for every show now. I'll wait till the season is out and watch it all in a few days.

Even the weak GoT seasons are better this way.

I s2 ep8 and I feel like I am wasting my time. S2 has been a huge drop off compared to s1.

Okay, s2 ep 4-8 are hot garbage. They felt like "hey we get paid per episode so let's double this season from 5 to 10." Ep 4 the winter treat was so bad I am still angry.

All that said, 9 & 10 almost made up for 4-8.

On this we can agree. S2 was a huge step down IMO.

I enjoyed the weird world building, but I can't disagree that it wasn't nearly as good as s1. Some highlight moments, and the finale was pretty goddamn great. It was shot super fucking great. It's easily up there in cinematography.

My sister brought it up, and i think it's pretty likely in retrospect- but Mark knocking Helena up seems pretty likely. Maybe it got talked about in the post show extras. Somewhat explains the weird egg breakfast mothers day scene. But it would also be a fairly cursed plot point.

The last episode of season 2 came out in March of this year. Two and a half years to get another episode is a long fucking time for a television show.

Show doesn't make any sense anyway, continuity isn't that big of a deal.
