I'm conflicted. Unless i missed an edit to tone it down. I think it was a cuck fuckhead statement but also not what i would quite call rising to the legit doxxing kind of threat. Maybe if the victim was one of the few on here with some psuedo public info about them irl.....
I think the bitch with his long history is pretty insufferable and probably should be banned. I'd rather see that happen when he's destroying a thread irb/olscratch style.
So i voted release. I would say delay make it a solid month to try and at least curb some of his wrist behavior.
Really if this was the George Carlin joke about kill (ban) one person a year, these days tolan is probably a bigger disruption. Though keg is kinda hodjing out right now too.

Of course I am open but so far nobody has given a good reason he needs to be unbanned.

I think he believed that point would win him some moral high ground. I am no TNMB apologist I don't give 2 shits about the guy. My concern is that we are banning a guy based on a popularity contest & not an actual infraction. I fear that once we head down that path it will be hard to change course. This has been my position all along, it is not about TNMB.

And I addressed that in my stance already.
I also have an entire thread in this sub forum about community.
We based our entire leadership on a popularity contest. Then we trust them to make the right decisions. Now we can't find a reason to unban him and he is again losing yet another popularity contest.
At what point do you just wash your hands of toxic people that seem to be incompatible with the majority of people here?
He is free to make a new account so long as he isn't obvious about who he is. I think Olscratch has made several and I don't mind until he inserts himself back into drama and then he gets banned again.
I just don't know at what point a ban is just good enough based on how much a person is disliked.

I don't think the mod elections were a popularity contest. I think Angry and Mario earned their re-election and both Cad and Khalid saw the writing on the wall that their feelings based modding wasn't going to cut it and rather than be embarrassed they stepped aside. I voted for Utn and Noodle based on their dispositions in other threads and the fact that they aren't so absorbed in argumentative threads.
