i stopped after season 3 just got busy, binged through seasons 3 thru 6 the last few weeks. I enjoy the show, its far from perfect but its a bit of fun seeing a mix of shitty spies, weird (to us) UK politics, Lamb as a guy I totally get, and River as the guy I think most guys can empathize with - "i'm a skilled badass" (i'm a fuck up with moments of good). Writing/dialogue is really good, plots tend to be kinda all over the place.
This season had Cyril from Andor as an assassin, his 2 person team was great. I sorta liked most of the story through the season but I thought it kinda fell apart by the end. The billionaire guy really made no sense at all in any way, both what he wanted or how he was trying to get in (oligarchs control all that shit in league with powerful politicians). It felt really silly. The terminator assassin team was a bit unbelievable in how they kept finding moving people but whatever.
Coe and Flyt dead was gutting, I really liked both those characters a lot and hoped to see them work together in Slough House next season.
Its nice to be all caught up, I downloaded the first 3 books to my kindle so will start reading those on winter vacations. Haven't read a spy book in years, I think i'll start watching Lioness next as a more gritty spy show.
