Small Press / Fine Press Editions

I didn’t know Dragonsteel was doing those, but I’ve also never ready WoT. Have a few if the Sanderson releases but somehow lost track of the Way of Kings and need to just find a set on eBay or something.

I’ve looked at so many different versions of that from this, Broken Binding, SubPress, someone else or at least one more and I just can’t do it. Waffle back and forth but just didn’t like all 3 enough to have it in my shelf. Good looking version though.

I’ve been too far behind to keep up with stuff and almost nothing has interested me.

Conversation Tree Press is finally shipping numbered 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas. Hopefully get mine next week, UK already getting theirs. Pictures on FB look amazing in both color options, I selected Teal.

Perfect Player Press released their 1st (probably) real edition in 2 states, regular and deluxe of Blood Music by Greg Bear. I had early access because of ordering Most Dangerous Game that he released first. Went in for the Deluxe even though I know nothing about the story, but Jake who owns the business has been a really good friend of the community and all my interactions with him have been positive. It’s also apparently been a huge dream of his to have a small fine press, so I really wanted to help support that.

I think Curious King / Lit Escalates are getting close to shipping standard Red Rising? Saw a lot of chatter about it. Mine is Numbered so likely not until next year for me to receive it.

Everyone is expecting Suntup to release Sleepy Hollow at the end of the month. That’ll be a shit show trying to get a copy at first. Suntup is really just releasing like 5 McCarthy books in a row or something. Fine, I guess, saves me money. Nothing wrong with McCarthy but I’ll just wait until they’re all out and buy a set or something. It’ll be years before that matters.
