He's shaken hands with Evra twice this season, what's your point?
I already said I was wrong, no need to drag it on old chap. This thread has been markedly improved from the foh thread that was 90% vitriol by the end, I don't want to return to those dark days. Even Springbok seems to be behaving himself if you didn't put him on ignore as soon as you joined.

However if anyone in this thread supports Derby County you can go and jump off a bridge, thanks.

Been meaning to mention this for ages,www.xperteleven.comis a decent online footy manager type game and can be played without putting a penny in if you so wish! I've been in it for a month or so, if we could get 8-10 people together a league might be interesting but the takeup on any participation thing was always low on foh sadly.

Don't really get why LFC want Countinho out of Inter when he doesn't even play right now, last year he looked alright at Espanyol but still I can think of about 10 people in that price range that are actually playing right now and playing well that would make more sense.

If the wages are being reported correctly for A. Cole's new deal then that's hilarious, the guy is just past his prime and to get paid like the best LB in the world is just retarded.

Like who? I think he would be a great signing, my only concern is where that would leave Suso.

Taken from another forum:

"A Inter forumhttp://forzainterforums.com/showthre...Correia/page64has a mammoth sized thread on Coutinho. A bit interesting to read reviews of his first appearance for Inter (approximately page 64).
I have skimmed through the 200-page thread, which makes a interesting read. At the beginning, Inter fans are mad happy. They're assured they've signed the next Kaka. Something that, just in a few days, turns into crazy excessive expectations. The young lad is compared to Zidane, Zico and Pel? from a bunch of Youtube clips. Coutinho still impresses in his first match, with a good eye for the game, excellent first touch on the ball and tidy passing game.
When the league debut emerges he is undeniably to lightweight, falling to the ground to often and "lacking Patos end product" (he is consistently compared with Milan's Pato). He gets less and less playing time, and in addition, he soon picks up an injury which sees him sidelined for three months.
After the injury, he's back, straight out of a Milanese spors gym, 10 pounds heavier, pure muscle.
The next indication is that he's in fact a very good player, one of the few that offers Inter little creativity. Self-confidence is not the best though, and Rafa's game clicks. What often happens, with Coutinho as their only creative player, is that he is marked out of matches.
Rafa's soon fucked off and Coutinho get less playing time. Fans are upset. Suddenly Coutinho is loaned out to Spanish Espanyol, and things start to move in the right direction. He scores five goals in something like fifteen matches. In addition to that he's voted man of the match two times. Please note that the guy just arrived at a new club, and is still only 19-20 years.
Just in time for the Coutinhos big comeback, the Inter fans learns that he most likely is for sale. This pisses them off full-time since the've waited patiently, year after year, to see him flourish in the club.
They can't believe he is for sale. Some of them wants to riot, others are tired of the whole saga and ready to get rid just to stop debating Coutinho."

Congrats to Bradford for reaching the Cup Final at Wembley by knocking out Wigan, Arsenal and Villa on the way. What a story.

Either one of Chelsea or Swansea will join them with Swansea leading 2-0 on aggregate. Arsenal and West Ham also play tonight in the league.

What a start to this second half by Arsenal - Poldi has been absolutely brilliant tonight.... Most Jekyl/Hyde team I've ever seen in my life, in any sport.

Pissed at Big Sam for bringing Diame on this late, down so much when I need him rested for our FA Cup match this weekend

Hilariously stupid.

I mean, yeah the kid was obviously trying to hold on to the ball to take time off the clock, and Hazard prob didn't mean to hit him, but kick the ball away from under him.. But still, should just have let the kid lie there for 5 seconds and then calmly collected the ball instead.. Dumb as fuck.

ROFL - probably the fucking dumbest thing I've ever seen in football. Hope that little prick gets a fine/2-3 match ban just for being a dumbass. That was utterly bizzare!

The kids twitter isn't going to do him any favours, he tweeted this before the match.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. That makes it even better. This story is going to be played out like crazy, when the real story should be Swansea/Bradford making a cup final. Great for both of those clubs.

Thanks for the gif Darkseid, I just read about it on BBC livetext and couldn't believe it. Ball boy was being an absolute cunt for sure but damn hahaha

Surely that's going to be a lengthy ban for Hazard if the replays from other angles show it's as bad as it looks? No way he gets away with just a red card for that.

"That kid could have been killed, he's lucky to be alive," Alex Ferguson told Sky Sports.

While he's an idiot for kicking at the ball, it pretty clearly moves out from under the kid in that YouTube clip. I don't think he should get anything more than the standard suspension, if even that. And I hope they ban that kid and any others who blatantly pull any similar shenanigans. I know there are other leagues (I think Spain but I don't remember exactly) that have banned ballboy's because too many of them were playing games. They started not throwing balls back to the opposing team, slowly collecting them, or throwing extra balls on the pitch to delay/disrupt the game.

Hope this Arsenal win doesn't trick Wenger into not buying before the window closes.

it's at least a 3 game ban for Hazard. It could be more, but in light of the retardation of the ball boy I can't see it.

Under UK law Hazard could well be facing charges of Assault and Battery. The Police investigated the matter, it is only because the ball boy did not want to press charges that it isn't going further.

If Suarez gets an 8 game ban for something that nobody except Evra heard, then Hazard should be banned for more. Provocation is not a valid defence under UK law. Even if he says he was aiming for the ball, he should have known there was a risk of hitting the ball boy

Racism is an important overall concern for FA and international FAs. That's why Suarez got 8 games - setting an example.

Physical abuse of snotty, game delaying ball boys is not a major concern. There's no way he's getting 8+ games. Also, I doubt a 17-year old really gets hurt that badly by what appeared to be a rather weak kick aimed at the ball.

I hope he gets 20, though. And that someone hits the ball boy in the face at school. Twice.
