aren't 3d movies encoded at half the bit rate and window, like a "4k" movie would be 2k / 2k to account for 3D so you are almost basically a 1080p peasant watching movies in 3D

next thing you'll be playing games at 640x480 at 30 fps

re-release with new footage with Rosaria Dawson from Daredevil as the nurse, presumably helping punisher and/or spidey

also out on VOD in a week, dunno if that'll include the deleted stuff. probably not lol

its the theatrical cut (2h25m long), a reported extended edition i guess will be out in theaters later

Finally got around to watching this with the wife tonight. Really really good. Little too long but I wasn't like 'get on with it already'. The antagonist was obvious from the jump. I watched a 4k copy and it only had 1 end credit scene, was that all they showed at the theater as well?

We just finished it and loved it. Really fun and feels great that someone somewhere still knows how to put together a good superhero movie after all the terrible crap released.

When I was a kid I read Xmen comics wife didn't. I assume but don't know if they even do comic books in the UK. Anyhow when they name Jean Grey I say out loud WHAT THE FUCK. My wife didn't know why I said that. I paused the pic and said 'that is an X-man'. She still didn't get it. I agree it was a great movie. Shame I didn't see it at the theater but it just didn't work out.

My wife is familiar enough with the X-Men movies to know who Jean Grey is so when that popped up she was like "wait, isn't she in X-Men, how is she in this movie??" And was pretty wowed that they were bringing them in. Not that we had not watched Doctor Strange and already seen Prof X or Captain America: Black Panther 3 with the whole adamantium thing and discussed all this. She finally got it when Jean shows up.

My wife usually won't watch superhero movies at all much less know what is what.
