Completely aside from his politics:

Springsteen has a couple of good songs. I.e. I like I’m On Fire.

I’ve never understood the cult surrounding him though. At the end of the day a lot of it seems really schlocky and generally bland. I don’t think I understand this segment of society who fawns over his music. Maybe it was more inventive than I realize at some point in time.

Also, Steve Van Zandt - who oddly was great on the Sopranos - annoys the fuck out of me in real life.
