What it really comes down to is who the lead writer is. Casey Hudson did fine when he had Drew Karpyshyn (who is now lead writer on that Exodus game that was featured last night too) to carry KotOR and Mass Effect for him. Things only went into the shitter when Karpyshyn left BioWare and was replaced by that talentless hack Mac Walters, which also ended up with Hudson joining him at the writers' table.

In a perfect world they'd have hired Avellone to continue the series, but I'm sure if that had happened we'd already be hearing about it.

what is amy hennig up to? didn't she work on a star wars game way back and it got canceled or she got let go?

Didn't Avellone get run out of the industry with some #metoo bullshit?

Exodus having Karpyshyn on board is the only thing that gives me hope for that game.
