So you are shocked that Zahn, who has no ownership over the character wasn't talked to? He has praised Filoni multiple times over his knowledge of Thrawn and had no issues with his depiction in Ahsoka. Is this more Mike Zero drama? Lol.

Well first you'd need an actual depiction to have an issue with. I didn't see much connection between Rebels Thrawn and whatever effort was made in Ahsoka.
Story, sure. But was there a Rebels depiction of Thrawn in Ahsoka? Not that I saw.

Who cares what he's done. JJ Abrams wasn't even respected on his trilogy outlines and characters for TFA. Lord and Miller were not respected. Gareth Edwards work was reshot. 80% of ROS was reshot.

X-Men Dark Phoenix was his first directing job (which I have never bothered to watch, even at the cost of free on Disney+), then he directed the utterly forgotten girl spies The 355... and that's it.
He has written/produced movies for decades at this point, though most of them are forgettable.
I suppose if you want something to actually come out, he's a solid pick, but not if you want something anyone will remember a month (or day) later.

Dude dint just fuck up Dark Phoenix which he wrote and directed with the First Class group, he WROTE Xmen 3 (which was Dark Phoenix) back in the day. Dude is hack, he "produced" shit cause he was there when the Xmen films started so contractually he had to be credited for a lot his of producer credits. The only thing he has written that I liked was Days of Future Past and unknown how much SInger changed the screenplay (directors often do)

This, this will finally turn it around for Star Wars. Another soft reboot with Rey as the Moldy One Canopy, she will die either midwayish through the first movie or, if they are writing it as a trilogy, possibly the second.
Oh, and at some point a female character will something akin to, "No, Main Character (or maybe to Rey). I am your Mother." and people will cry tears of how over how beautiful it is.
I am honestly surprised they didn't have Leia say it to Rey in the sequel trilogy.
