Sir, this is a societal destruction corporation.Just make a good movie seems like a solid approach.

He's not even giving it a chance. He's an edgelord who's so edgy he slit his own wrists. You're entirely too stupid to live.
You sperged out about a former Star Wars fan saying they've completely lost him to the point that he hasn't even shown his formerly favorite IP to his children.
95% of all current adult Star Wars fans were introduced to it by their parents when they were children which is the entire fucking reason it was a billion dollar franchise in the 2000s. Tanking it's reputation with current fans so badly that they don't introduce it to their children the same way it was introduced to them is exactly how you kill it for good, and you're here arguing that KK is the issue when Iger still meddles with every movie and the lead creative they replaced her with is most famous for......a Star Wars cartoon that catered mostly to adults.
My desire to see Thrawn in action was 100% killed by both the casting of this fat dorkIf this was 15 or 20 years ago they could have rolled right into the OG Thrawn books as a sequel trilogy and brought back the whole original cast. Unless they do the unthinkable and decanonize 7-9 and recast the OT characters with middle aged actors and go from there but I don't have faith in them to pull that off.

It has so many adult fans because it matured. You can't cater it to children and keep adults. Do you still watch looney tunes? Actually looney tunes might be a bad example because they had a lot of double entendre that kids didn't even get. Your kids should be introduced to it the same way you were. Watch the original trilogy. Read the legends EU. Play the old games. They will either like it or they won't and it will be your doing, not Disney's.
I am pretty sure most of us adults who are fans didn't have parents who were fans. We were dropped off at the theater while they fucked off and did their own thing. But you can't expect it to catch on with the new genertion the same way it did with us. It was revolutionary shit back then. Today's kids are familiar with the concepts even if they've never seen anything star wars because it's so ingrained in our culture.
As far as they are concerned they did make good movies, the audience is the problem.Just make a good movie seems like a solid approach.

Stepping on your own shoelaces. Mando was terriffic. They also made andor. Boba ... I clearly said they weren't batting 1.000. But about half of boba was good.Jon Favreau. Book of Boba Fett creator Jon Favreau. Mandalorian and Grogu creator Jon Favreau. That is your choice for "getting on the right track."
Everyone else in this thread is talking about the real things that could bring this back around, but you call me a retard while saying that ONE dude in a studio packed full of mid-tier activist writers/actors is going to make it better. You are fucking delusional and I'm going to come back here after the next 3 movies bomb and remind you.

It's safe to say that we never have to consider your opinion about TV shows ever again.

Since one of the 7 was really a mando episode, that's more than fair.Nah he's kinda got a point, the 3 episodes that centered around Mando were actually good. Close enough to half we can round up right?
But even with Kathleen gone, the writers that made Ahsoka, Season 4 Mando, Boba Fett, Acolytes, the sequel movies etc are probably still there.
I don't want that faggot anywhere near Star Wars either.Luke shows up every now and then voice by Mark
